View Full Version : hyper twist problem
hello all, ive been improveing my b twists loads lately. Getting more height ect, and im landing so well that its probs easyer to do a hyper twist than how im landing lol. But yeah, i cant land on my other leg, even though it would be very easy. Any advice ? Oh and sorry, maby ill film myself in a few days or maby a week sorry no vid :(
try to chamber the landing leg like on a 540 and then you will be forced to
land one the second leg ^^ it worked for me :}

I've never tried that! I always find hypertwist one of 'those' techniques. When I do them, and I can quite regularly now, I don't know how I do it! So I can't move onto the next one (which I want soooooo bad - hyperhook). I've tried kicking out of it (like a 540) and I've tried landing on two legs then just lifting the first as the mandging comes in and all other kinds of variations.
I will give that a go tomoz.

revolve around your throwing leg instead of your take off leg then you'll naturally land on your hyper leg... i'll make a tut when i'm back at the gym, i'll basically be repeating what Kim Do taught me but in my own words :/
Hey wait, by throwing leg do you mean the first or second? Same with take off leg. Cause technically they both are taking off and being thrown.

Hey man. For hyperhook, do what sess says and think of it like a cheat 720 kick with a lil more rotation in the beginning. Go like a normal btwist...throw your upperbody and leg as high as you can...then once you are airborn do a cheat 720 kick haha. Its what made the difference for me. :good:
Just simplify moves...because most moves are basically simple if you just think of them in a different way.
