Know what... when i go to the supermarket i look for wholemeal bread.
I find a few packs that say wholemeal bread on them, but when i look at the ingredients i see that "whole grains" or anythin like that aint part of the ingredient. i always see wheat bran as one of the ingredients, and ,as i've heard, its the bran that makes bread UN-wholemeal...It has to be the whole grain, bran and all....
Anybodys professional opinion on this?
PS..from what ive seen the best bread that ive found so far is made of:

No, I'm merely implying that there's no reason for anyone to really give a shit about your vocal, anti-grain opinions, that you keep trying to shove down everyone's throats.
You know, besides from the premise of eating as we've evolved to, the whole paleolithic movement is totally misguided anyway. Most of its proponents are guys like you that are pretty ignorant whilst at the same time annoyingly dogmatic. There are only like two arguments these types of people spout, 1) some barely thought-out theoretical notion that if our ancestors didn't eat something then we're ill-suited to eating it now; 2) personal experiences where they felt better after switching to a paleo diet, when - placebo effect aside - similar results could probably have been achieved by just taking a food allergy test.
Just buy the damn wholemeal bread but I found this now I'm wondering..

I went and saw a dietician, and she told me to stop eating wholemeal bread, I didnt have the chance to ask her why, all the while i thought i was eating the right bread. Is wholemeal harder to digest or what? I thought white bread was the baddie.
it should only be 100% wholegrain or wholewheat( check for labelling) just because it says wholemeal it doesn't mean it is 100%. best to buy bread from health food stores. bread is not bad for you just dont eat too much.

Because of principles of the Paleo diet that he's selected to be true.
I like bread.. However I do not like it to the point of it replacing a meal.

What do you mean I shove it down people's throats? When topics come up, I give my opinion, you give yours, others do the same.. I'm no more or less aggressive in doing so than anyone else, and I don't bring up the issue unless someone asks a question directly relating to it.
Hopefully my responses to these topics will help to balance the rabid pro-grain stance of the establishment, which has most civilians thinking of "whole grains" as the pinnacle of healthy eating - actually telling people to eat MORE, which is ridiculous. Many new TT members are quite young, and this seems to usually be their first training/nutrition forum exposure - their only knowledge of nutritoin so far has come from the back of their cheerios packet.

I've never stated, nor do I agree with, argument 1. Number 2, yea I have that personal experience. I don't understand the part about how "similar results could probably have been achieved by just taking a food allergy test [and then eliminating allergenic foods]. That doesn't work against the "paleo diet" at all. Part of the reason for avoiding shit like wheat is that it is so allergenic, even if sub-clinical in most people.

Oh, not to mention the fact they're assuming that simply because the diet has worked for them it must work for everyone, like lactose intolerant faggots that complain about how bad milk is when others can digest it just fine.

This thread only proves that Lobo knows exactly what he's talking about, no matter how biased or unbiased you are, (although I don't see how any forum member couldn't by now), and that rock_ten is completely oblivious to any real information. At least enough to make a valid argument and point.

Most strength athletes, like here in these forums, are only a short hop away from a paleo-diet anyway. Lots of meat, veg, fruit, etc. Grains and dairy are probably all that one would need to remove to have a diet satisfying the strictist of paleo advocates. So you already support most of what a paleo diet would entail - and changing to a fully-paleo diet wouldn't be a big change. This means that if in changing to a paleo diet, you felt better, it would directly be as a result of eliminating the grains/milk, say (or a placebo effect, as you suggested...). So to praise the entire diet is valid, since already the majority of it is commonly-accepted strength-athlete fare, and the other changes are small and distinct, allowing observation of their particular effects.
I can't think of a better way to put that.. I think the first part of your post makes no sense, and the above paragraph attempts to show that. But possible fails.

If you think the paleolithic diet is just a case of eating whole foods with the exceptions of grains and dairy then your grasp of it is even more tenous than previously indicated. And seriously, if you can't see the distinction between taking a food allergy test and finding out specifically what you're intolerant to and minimising or removing it from your diet, and following some diet based on what it's speculated paelolithic humans ate like which happens to exclude certain foods then you really are an even more obtuse and illogical cunt than everyone already sees you as.
