btw.. cant post a video, webcam is 2 slow and camera is 2 poor.

I think you should take a break.

Yes, first take a break, but only a day off at tops, because if you take a break too long you will start doubting yourself, and you'll have to overcome the fear of doing it all over again. This happened to my friend, he took three days off after learning the back tuck, and when he tried it again he was nervous, and landed on his face (it was grass so he was alright).

As long as you are tucking right (it doesnt matter if you are tucking behind the legs near your hamstrings or if you are tucking in front), it SHOULD work itself out.

if you've been practicing non-stop for 3 hours, you're probably at least a little tired. If you keep going, you'll get more tired. If you get too tired, you actually WILL get hurt.

and if you're landing so low that you knee yourself in the face, I suggest you try and figure out what you're doing wrong in the backflip; are you jumping high enough, tucking hard enough, etc.

Apart from that, take a break. If you weren't exaggerating and actually have been doing backflips for the last 3 hours, you're gonna feel it in the morning.

yea thanks alot lol good points. i have been takeing little 10 min breaks and stuff but i guess since u guys are definetly more experienced i have to assume that u know what you're talking about :p.

o and btw.. i wasnt kneeing myself in the face while landing, it was when i was tucking in the air, i dont know if i was tucking too much or maybe tucking my head to much or something.

keep ur knees shoulder width apart when you tuck so your head can fit in the gap between them so you dnt knee yourself

Use your arms alot......and take breaks. Have you used a partner to flip you over the top when you practice. That helps alot.

no i havent used a partner. ive been flipping from flat ground to actually a higher surface (futon matress) so that is like -6 inches of height i could be roating with so im pretty confident on being able to do it.

But, my confidence faded when i went outside determined to do it on the grass. I wasnt even able to attempt it knowing that the matress wasnt there if i messed up :(
