Sideswipe and Aerial Tips plz (vids included OFCOURSE=D)

Yesterday I landed my first " sideswipes "...well...I hope you can call em that way, what do you guys think about them? (except for more inverting ofcourse)

And I was happy because my Gymnast Aerials were going really easy, I even landed them from standing. But then I watched them and found them rather ugly...I still have the feeling that my legs aren't going the way I want to (TOTALLY straight over that is). Opinions/tips?

I haven't been tricking for very long, so I may be a bit ignorant, but your sideswipes look like 540s to me.

As for the aerial, I suspect the reason they look ugly is because just before you jump, you swing your right leg behind and to the left for some reason. Hence you have to swing it back across when you aerial, and you come out sort of sideways.
Stop doing that and I think your aerial will look nicer.

sideswipe is OK just invert it a little more.
i thought that its called a sideswipe when ur hips are higher then ur head.
not sure about that though. But thats already close , nice work :good:
on the aerials. im not good in gymnastic aerials. but i think the case is u really need to get them OVER ur head so straight behind, turning above ur head and landing the opposite of what u came from, so more over ur head.
but anyways i think u can already do trickster aerials. and if i was u i would stick to those, also thinking combo wise ! :good:

Nice attempts man, but you gotta get your Raiz first! The Sideswipe = Raiz switch.

If you can't Raiz, you most likely will not be able to Sideswipe...

I can do a raiz, but it's the same as my 'sideswipe': horizontal, not inverted. so I'm really going to work on that. I couldn'd land those 'sideswipes' until I tried to raiz and just kick my second leg harder.

you are right about my aerials orichiu,but everytime i try them, i end up being all weird and twisted right when i take off...

try to stay on a straight line in your aerial.
you still go to the side at the point you're kicking off the ground.

when i learned them i was trying to "dive" forward [a bit risky but it helped MY aerials. and if you learn to do that you can start jumping over stupid places - like potholes and puddles. civilians love it].
