Today I went to the park to trick a bitty. After I got home, I realized hey, I need to concentrate on cleaning up the technique of my basic tricks. So I did just that. Some of them didn't need the cleaning, some of them did. That covers the first section of the video.

The next section is composed of moves that I need to drill and practice the technique of next time(s).

The third section is made of just a couple goof off clips.

Think of it as sort of a teaser to my HOPEFULLY soon to come samplar! YA!

1 year 9 months tricking. No gymnastics/MA background whatsoever. Never been in a gym. You know the drill.

Enjoy. Feel free to critique the techniques that do in fact need some cleaning.

Dang, cool. Aerials are really floaty o.O good variations too.

On your 360 crescent you can try chambering the nonkicking leg, it makes it feel a lot more snappy, and hands at fighting position. And your pop720s you're kind of punching, try to make it a straight hop off the ground.

Other than that, nice stuff.

Oh and I'm jealous of your raiz shit. I still can't get it.

I REALLY liked this video. And that saying something. Often times I watch people busting out tricks wayy harder then anything you did in that vid, but I dont get near as much satisfaction as I do when I watch your sampler. Everything you do is so clean. Excellent stuff man.

Dang, those are some really clean tricks! You could try and put more power (or at the very least make it look like there's more power) into your 360s. They looked like your weren't really trying, which you may not have been.

***DISCLAIMER***
I am the last person who should be giving gymnastics advice, so just disregard the following if you think I'm an idiot.

I think you could pull off a higher, better backtuck by simply throwing your hands all the way up and holding them there during the stall. In this video, you had them out in front. As you are cleaning up technique, I just thought I'd point out that flaw.

Hes not the first guy Ive seen do them like that. One of my gymnastics coaches told me to just throw your hands up, then tap them on your knees exactly like he does...it keeps it simple.

I agree.

And thanks for the 720 advice Bystander, I shall take it into consideration.

And thank you all for your encouraging and supportive comments. :)

Looked like a nice sunny day for practicing! You went over quite a number of things too...which is good!

The only real flaw you have is your Pop set-up tricks. Anytime you do a Pop 360/720/900/etc., the target you're kicking at should be perpendicular to the path of motion your on...

In other words, change your approach! Instead of imagining the target at the end of the path, imagine the target along the edge of the path, during it's course. Your path into "Pop" tricks should either be slightly curved, or it should be on slant with the target.

In here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YrtLc7-ayMI), there are 2 examples of how you should apprach a "Pop" set-up trick. You'll see Steve Terada's do one, that is pretty straight, but the target he's kicking is on the side of him. Then you'll see Kim Do do the same trick, but he follows more of an obtuse curve, which helps him bring the kick through his target on the side of him, and towards the front.

nice man. this is the first footage i've seen of you other than your avatar. great kicks, and your btwist is really clean. on your flash, you may want to try arching your back more, and letting the kick come from the hips. like, push your hips out when you first go into it, and pull them in as you kick. it makes the kick like really fast and powerful.

Haha, sunny day? It was COOOOLD out there bro haha. But once you get movin, it warms up a lot.

Anyways, yea I was thinking about the tip you mentioned after looking at Juji's 360 crescent example video. I'm going to have to try the more "double-leggish" approach to the pop set up now. Thanks alot!

Thanks man. Yea I can point my toes when I do ground kicks and stuff easy, but when I get in the air it get's hard lol. I should have mentioned in my first post that I should be pointing my toes. I shall be sure to practice that more next time I work those kickzzles.

And yeno I've never been to a gym lol. I don't know of any good ones here, dang. I'll have to look around some more. I just stick to parks. Mmm, I love the GRASS! Desert Breeze is a good park out here. But yea when it comes to gyms, I'll look around and keep you informed.

Yea, when I first learned flash I got into the bad habit of not arching and trying to kick with my back straight, which has lingered in my muscle memory until now. I must fix this, HIYA! Thanks a lot for the criticism and comments.

And thank everybody else who posted your sweet little bits of encouragement, I appreciate it. Yay!

Dude, you have the potential to be an awesome stylistic tricker. I really like that you place emphasis on the development of your technique, instead of just bagging them as 'landed' and moving on. When you start comboing it looks very natural and the momentum is clearly 'pulled' through instead of forced. I really liked it!

Jesus christ, Skilzat, you're like a frickin' robot. Everything looks so effortlessly flawless. You appear so emotionless, and yet your tricks are high and floaty and omg I loved that hook-ct-raiz-gainer.

I remember when posted your first vid here dude. You got nothing but positive response from the beginning and you continually deserve it with each vid you release. If this is a "teaser" then I'm really looking forward to your next sampler.

I love your emphasis on clean movement and the style you bring with it. Keep it up.
