540: Straight ahead, slightly upwards.
BKicks: I dunno, either towards the floor or forwards (upwards from your body, which should be horizontal).
BTwists: Over the shoulder of the same side you are spinning towards.
Doubleleg: See BTwists.

540: pretend ur gonna kick sumones over sumone's head (or hit it) and ur looking at the head
bkicks: straight across in front of you
btwists: as above
doubleleg: target the same as you wood for 360 cresents/feilongs, as if you were gonna kick over sumone's head (or hit it)

nah JKT they're right, you're suppose to spot BEFORE looking over your shoulder:wink:
in a proper butterfly kick your back should be arched like hell, you should be able to look above more than horizontal
but for most here horizontal is good
and for a select few even sucky low looking at the ground bkicks are good

When you 540, you should look at the target you're kicking at. That goes for any offensive trick (tricks that have non-inverted kicks in them).
The Butterfly Kick is one of the few kicks that hit the opponent while you're not looking at it. The trick should be used on an opponent standing on the edge of the path you're travelling. Once you come upwards after the "dip". You should be looking away from the target. Throughout the whole trick your eyes should be focused on the back-wall opposite from where your target is. Try to maintain that view for as long as possible, or until your legs cause you to face the target again.
The Butterfly Twist is a combination of things...as you come up from the "dip", you should be turning your head towards your base leg (the last leg that leaves the ground), and preparing to wrap your arms across your body. Once you get airborne, you wrap tightly and look over your shoulder. When you come out of the twist, you should be looking in the direction that your body is travelling.
For the Doubleleg, you should keep your eyes on the target just like most kicking techniques. The difference occurs once your legs pass in front of your line of sight. When both legs sweep across the target, your eye-sight should slightly focus on the ground (keep your head up, but spot the ground for foot placement).
JKT, can you b twist yet ?
