NO
you do now require any background in anything to do this stuff.
just go to the tricks section of the web page and read it, watch the videos, try some tricks. start training too.
its a real change in lifestyle for most people and takes more then just a month long fad interest to make some progress.
but good luck man and welcome to TT
oh, and watch out for the publicus, its scary sometimes

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!
I'm not gonna be an asshole here... because in about a years time you'll want to yell at people like you too!
NO! IT'S NOT TO LATE TO START!!!
I started Martial Arts when I was 11 but only did it for a year. I re-started at age 16 (older than you but still NEVER TOO OLD). I'm no 20 and i'm a payed instructor in my school (a good one at that) and one of the co-instructors of the schools demo team.
I only started tricking last year when I was about 19 and a half.
I went to my first ever gymnastics class about a month after that!
IT'S NEVER TOO FUCKING LATE UNLESS YOU'RE DEAD!!!

Man, I hope 15's not too late, cuz that's how old I am, I'm pretty new at this and I have no former training either.
I think we just have to get some fundamentals down first. Practice some really basic kicks (learn what they should look like first), like side, front, and crescent, stretch alot to incease flexiblity, and do simple body weight exercises, like pushups, wall sits, crunches, etc... These can all be done at home, in front of the tv.
I really hope its not too old man, or I'm screwed.
I started karate when I was 21. My first ever physical excercize... Prior to that I had never moved a bone in my body other than going to and home from school :P So it's not too late.
