Finally after about a 3 month wait they arrived! I've read a ton of positive reviews, I hope they live up to their rep. For only 15 dollars man shit!

It adds the needed protection and basic needs of a shoe, without hindering anything in the weight department.

I suggest everyone get a pair who tricks on hard surfaces.

Although they wont last as long, they wont really work as intended until you grind the nubs of the bottom to be smooth. Like rubbing them on concrete a lot to wear them down to be smooth. Then they will rotate on surfaces better etc. But..your choice...they wont last as long cuz youll be grinding them down.

haha feiyues are great, ive got at least 4 pairs lying around. Theyre for wushu first and foremost but still work great for jumping around on hard surfaces. Its a good thing theyre so cheap (1-3 USD over in china) because they wear pretty quick. Its not just the bottoms that start to break, the tops of mine have busted seams from slap kicks.

still great shoes

"Titanium ankles" is the only support you'll need. (To reduce weight and restriction on movement, feiyues have little to none) :( but it's worth it

How light are they? I got do-wins and they feel much better than those look.

Do-Wins are a tad lighter, but fei-yues are a lot more durable. If I was doing outside tricking, Id definitely go with a pair of fei-yues, but inside with shoes, do-win can be a little better, only problem is the ones made for wushu are very narrow on the bottom. The tai chi ones have a much better base, they are the ones I use for wushu. Fei-yues are overall more reliable and simpler, I just got some do-wins for fancy competition shoes.

the only problem i found with feiyues, is the size! they fit like half a size smaller and consequently kill my toes after ten minutes!!

still awesome shoes for ten minutes tho :)

Whatever you do, DON'T get them a size above... Nothing you can do about it without putting insoles in and making them heavy and even more unstable. The shoes are heavy considering their size but definatly great to trick in.

i still rate rock climbing shoes as the best tricking shoes :good:

or just barefeet, it doesnt hurt on smooth concrete, i dont see what the problem is!

I use sneakers. They're pretty light, so you dont even feel its on you. And it looks cool when you trick :good: .

i think wushoes are good for wushu. and bare feet are good for tricks (on grass)

I like my tricks done on broken glass and needles full of AIDS, preferably barefoot.

I got a pair. Just make sure you get a size larger so they aren't too tight. Ive been looking everywhere for a pair of black ones. Martialartsmart.com are overpriced and the shipping cost to canada is sickening for just a pair of shoes.

Yea I got some a couple weeks ago.

Strange, my recommendation would be to get them a size smaller, ho ho ho!

They're good stuff.

I fucking hate feiyue shoes, you can easily get shoes near enough as light and alot more durable than those. They don't even do a real purpose, the impacts of tricks are just the same and its not like they protect your ankles.

Skilzat85X

DUHHHHH.

Wearing shoes isn't meant to protect your ankles. In fact, Feiyues are much better for your ankles!
Especially tricking wise, shoes do the opposite of protecting your ankles, at least if they have "ankle support." If they do, which most do, then your ankle is inflexible and has a very limited range of motion within the shoes, especially sideways. This increases your chance of spraining an ankle by about 34234829342 times.

The point of feiyues is to get as close to the natural foot feeling as possible while still having some protection for the feet.

tricker_d

Also protecting your feet from stepping on a nail, glass, or rocks. Although I think if a nail is standing up right, it can still poke your foot through the bottom.

sorryyyy mr Skilz, for tricking these shoes are perfectly fine, I guess I think they suck because I do parkour.

Ahhh yes.

Anyways after spraining my same ankle twice I realized that my shoes need to get smaller haha.
