I think they were fresh, but im too scared to try it again. hahha. and a regular sized egg only has about 4 grams of protein thats kind of a waste, why even bother.

I haven't tried it simply because it looks disgusting.

I've tried some of his other kitchen tricks, though...

There's no plausible reason why simply combining oatmeal with an egg would cause vomiting.

HAhahahahahahha!!!!!! explode? it's not TNT. Look on the box of Quaker oats it says to micowave for 3 minutes on full temperature!!! (something like that) you don't want raw oats.

What I do is crack the egg in a measuring pitcher. Add a bit of milk to help things then stir the shit into a mother fucking yellow milk substance. I then add the oats then the milk then microwave it for 3 minutes on the highest temperature. While I wait I get a bowl and a spoon and some maple syrup or low carloie sugar and if there still time I stretch. Once finished add the maple syrup or low calorie sugar and stir, add and then stir. Then I pour the oats from the beaker into the bowl and eat!

(I need to make my own website.)

regular eggs 4 grams? I almost always get ahold of the usual large eggs with 6 grams.

Also, I never had any problems. It's not disgusting and it certainly never made me sick. The problem is definetly on your end, not the idea in general.

I concur, 6 grams, and some awesome fats with that.

It is however disgusting, yes, I did try. And I eat raw eggs.

I like them together. I eat it every morning. First I beat the egg in a bowl with a fork then add a little bit of water and wisk some more. Add the oats, microwave and enjoy. No sweeteners or flavoring for me.

Acutally you've contracted chicken aids.

Answering the original poster. 1 minute seems like to short a time to cook oatmeal in the microwave. AJCN's 3 minutes sounds more reasonable.

My oats say 2 minutes on the package but usually I need to turn it up to around 2 ½. But I usually eat them raw.

It's not gross... It basically turns into an omlette with oatmeal.

Never tried it, but I probably would. If you cook it for longer, which is probably a good idea if you're only cooking it for a munute or so, just stop the microwave every minute and stir the oatmeal. this keeps it from exploding (overflowing the bowl)

And that's gross.

Y'know, unless it has ham, pepper, sum green peppers, a bit of sodium, and a bigass home made tortilla to go with it.

Microwaved eggs are gross as hell.

Is it just me, or do eggs smell really bad after being microwaved?

I though I must have used a bad egg, but it was the same smell everytime.

same shit happened with me, hence why I think microwaved eggs are disgusting.

I'd rather eat out Chelsea Slutts

Why even bother microwaving? I just mix in a raw egg with dry oats and eat.

I'd guess it'd be the time. I usually do at least 90 seconds, 2 minutes or more if it's a big bowl.
