I can now finally do backhand springs and i want to progress further but i dont know whether to try a cheat gainer(moonkick, whatever you want to call it) or a standing back tuck. so I was wondering is a cheat gainer easier than a standing back tuck?

i also think so
there is much less to think about in a backtuck then in a Moonkick

doesnt matter which is easier, learn a back tuck, otherwise your slant gainer will probably suck.
but, i'd say gainerslant is about 29857239847239 times easier, but i usually put alot of effort into my back tucks.

learn a backtuck, then a whole load of tricking opportunities will open up

Learn back tuck first, definitely. Then gainer. Then gainer flash. Then moonkick. Cheat gainer doesn't exist, fuck Joe Eigo and all who associate with him (with the exception of Ryouko, I <3 them).

imo the flash gainer/moonkick/cheat gainer are easier to me because you have more momentum than a backflip and probably because i could land a flash gainer before i could land a backflip

Gainer flash and moonkick are differnet things, gainer flash is straight backwards and moonkick is like up but at an angle then turning sideways, fuck its just a slant gainer.

backflips first, moonkicks later (like a crapload of people here said before me)

Physically, as in the regards of effort, the tricking Gainer is easier than the standing Back tuck...but in regards of learning, the Back tuck should come first.
Like Nick B. and many other said, learning to do the Back tuck first will help you when learning to do a Gainer. Also, being able to do the Back tuck will give you confidence more confidence in doing one with one leg...
Get Moonkicks out of your mind...they're harder than what people give them credit for. Many trickers who say they can Moonkick are not Moonkick-ing at all...Before you get around to doing Gainers and the sort, I'd advise you to have 540, Feilong, Doubleleg, Parafuso, Aerial, and other things...

If i see you post one more time explaining a moonkick or a gainerslant I will ban you for a week!!!!!!!
...now go to your room!!!
