I had really sore hamstrings/groin muscles since sunday, but theyre starting to feel a bit better. When should I start stretching such as trying for splits? Or should I keep stretching lightly for a while?
Do a warm up first, then stretch. You shouldn't be sore after the warm up, in which case go for gold. If you're still sore, stretch lightly. If you find you can't stretch as well as you should be able to, let the muscles rest for another day or two first.
