Yeah so I had my first Capoeira class with a new group. Turns out that the C. Mestre doesn't believe in A/C, so about 30-45 min in to training I am dripping in sweat and getting dizzy. I was overheated. I havn't gotten over heated like that in a VERY long time, I thought I was in bettershape than that. I dont have high blood pressure or any other medical issues that lead to over heating. I drink upwards of a gallon of H2O a day, hydration not an issue. Any tips as to what I can do to avoid overheating. Thanks in advance.

Did you sip water at regular intavuls whilst training? If not then dehydration could very well be the problem.

I did, but not as much as I could have liked.
Just a tip on the hydration process: Make sure your water isn't so cold as to close to freezing. It can be slightly cool but not cold.
The reason for this is because even though our body may be subject to extreme heat, we still need to internally heat the cold water up to body temperature before the body can actually process it. And also do not binge 1l of water in an effort to compensate for anything. A very big deal of that won't be used by the body and will just pass through you.
As for the class, ask them if they can open up a window if there are any. Tell them about your predicament and see if it is just you or if more people are feeling the same.
