So here i am with my vid including the 2 setups
540 kick
and 540 hook
i also stay by my opinium that the hop is giving more height then the spinning
the spinning is faster but takes away lot of height IMO

Do it however you want. You may think you are getting higher but it looks ugly as hell and makes it look like you have shitty kicks.

Oh and whats an opinium?
in my opinion
That hop setup really does look goofy.

it takes away alot of height because you dont have good 540 or setup technique. oh well, do it how you want, its not my tricks that are going to suffer
The reason why you're spin setup 540 is low and ugly is because you don't do it in a right way. When you take a step backwards with you're left leg, you're supposed to leave it there and take the final step with you're right leg and launch. But you do it like this; in the wrong way: when you take the step to the back with left leg, you plant it back in front and then you take the final step with the right. What's the point in that, it only eats you're momentum making the 540 ugly.

Yeah, your not doing the setup wrong, you take the step back to start your momentum, then keep the backwards momentum, you take the step back, then step forward again, making the entire thing pointless.

Broetjetim>> instead of going to defense position, ignore the Jon F retard, no need to get more flamed for your behaviour.
Now go train both setups, and stop trying to prove that the hop/step/kick setup is best.

Have you tried using a spinning hook/crescent kick to gain momentum for moves rather than an Inside crescent?
Usually this works better and looks one hell of a lot nicer too.
To set yourself up for the "spinning" take off, try getting into a right stance, now just take your right foot further right so the weight is on that right leg. now step inwards towards the left.
TKD_Andy made a tutorial for it within his 540 tutorial I believe. If thats the example you are modelling, just go back and take a better look at Andys foot positioning. :good:
