anyone know of any, iv seen taegashis exampler but it doesnt show the kip up :( also has anyone got any good vids of people doing em?

yeh i cant work out what my arms do to push up, i cant seem to get off my shoulder

Your legs momentum carries you up. you use your arms to stabilize.

your arms aren't really important
the legs are generating momentum to carry you up

practice windmills, it will help you

Everytime I think of practicing Windmills, I get a mat or something soft and start trying. Then, I realize I suck a Breakdancing and tell myself :"Hey, maybe it's my wrong side." Then I try it on the other side. Then I realize I still suck and go back on the other side. After a hour of sideSwitchin' , I tell myself : " Ah,I still suck. I've lost a hour of my life."

Then I go eat a RamenSoup full of trans fat.

i imagine myself doing a kamehame blast into the ground when i do it :) just push away as hard as you can and let the movement of your legs help carry you up

not really. you need to spread your legs apart if you want to generate momentum. in starfishes you keep your legs together.
i've seen some wushu guys do starkip-ups with their legs almost together though, and even though the move is originated in wushu, it looks better imo if you do it more bboy-style (keeping legs apart).
