Try to sling more to get your body more vertical on both aerials but yeah they're both aerials. But stick to gymnast aerials they'll make it easier for you when you're going to learn axe2aerials, reverse aerials, etc.
Also on your gymnast aerial you're not throwing yourself in to the move completely straight somethings that are extremely crucial for a good gymnast aerial is to kick the leading leg back. And to kind of throw the arm back so your shoulders get in the right position. Also try and look forward always think forward with this move. You'll still end up sideways so don't worry.
PS: You spelled aerial wrong twice.

Your doing your "gymnast aerial" like a tricker aerial, just with better form and straighter legs.

You are improving! They are both aerials, well done. The comments above are correct though, I think you should definitely whip a bit more for your gymnast aerial. Use your upper body to torque like a bitch.

Yeah When summer comes im gonna sunbathe!!! like hell!
And thanks for the tips guys!
Isit alot easier with a runup?

I always thought of an aerial as a "pop" move (where you pop your upper boddy, to get your legs over) but you seem to dip into it?
iuno, whatever works for you, I guess.

JKT... Your "gymnast" aerial is just an OK trickster aerial, your "trickster" aerial is a SHITTY trickster aerial.
Stick with the first one.
to do a PROPER GYMNAST aerial- start facin forward, swing leg UP AND BEHIND YOU and land facing the opposite way.

I personally suck at doing aerials with run-up I stop up too much of my momentum but sure if you can handle it I'm sure it's slightly easier.
AndyLeMexican: Dipping is actually very good you should almost crouch a bit and then just explode spring your trailing leg up and then just kick that first leg back. The sling is something that's quite important as well.

Man, your doing your aerial in your room with practally no space, that shows a fair ammount of control and confidance that your not going to screw up royaly and start breaking shit.
but i agree that your not vertical, and you need to get a little more freedom in your movements, but i think that can be solved by going back outside whenever its warm. The slight run up should make it a little easier and more comfortable, then you can start experimenting with ahatever works for you.
good luck man

YES!
First of all, go outside and get more room.
Second of all, KEEP DOING THE GYMNAST AERIAL! Don't do that piece of crap tricker aerial again! Do the gymnast aerial AGAIN!
Oh don't listen to all these other sluts who are saying that that gymnast aerial is just a tricker aerial. You cannot argue aerials with me! That is a somewhat ugly gymnast aerial but keep doing it because it will get better if you practice it.

how is it a gymnast aerial?
His body is not vertical.
It is somwhere between gym. and trickster- he's straight with the body, but somehow angled and not paralel.
I like it more.
One thing many (relatively) new tricksters don't understnad is : you don't HAVE to do trickster aerial in a combo just because somebody said it's easier.
If you CAN do the other aerial, by all means DO IT rather than the vertical b kick....

He isn't totally vertical but it's still a gymnast aerial. An ugly one, yes. I'm sure it'd be easier if he had MORE ROOM.
But look at his arm and torso positioning on takeoff and landing, as well as his foot positioning on takeoff and landing. I'm not saying that it's a freaking good example of a gymnast aerial, but it is a very beginner gymnast aerial.

make your hips and head more align ..you have to throw your right leg slightly back on your take off...up and back..just watch jujis tutorial because in my opinion he has one of the most perfect aerials i've ever seen...if you've seen it
already watch it again and pay attention to where his legs and where his hips are moving
Your "tricker" aerial looks like a bad butterfly kick. Stick to the gymnast one. Really push off with your leading leg, throw the back leg back, but not straight back, or you'll die. Look at Jan in the R.O.D sampler and you'll see what I mean, he leg goes back, but his hips are turned a little bit. Wushu aerials also look like this.

Skilzat, I don't wanna question your aerial knowledge... BUT:
I got gymnast aerial to the right, and a trickster one to the left.
Some time ago I tried changing my setup, swing and generally all the form of my "trickster" aerial, so I would eventually make it into a gymnast one.
I can do an aerial to my right with the gymnast setup - foot positioning, hip turning and all... and It's still a trickster aerial (a very good one though! ^__^).
So you see - the foot positioning and ll doesn't REALLY determine the aerial type... It's all about the body position midtrick (IMO ofcourse).
