Basically, I've seen it done loads at the end of combos. It isn't Btwist as there is no lift or dip, it's kinda like a horizontal/slanted full twist out of a cartwheel. Normally the the legs split too. Can anyone enlighten me..? I know it isn't right yet, but any constructive criticism would be great

Hmm like that I'd just call it a btwist since its so horizontal. Invert it a little and its like a side full.

I'm pretty sure it's called a fulltwist round (Get that kick out and a little higher ). I think I remember seeing something about that, but then again, I could always be wrong.
Edit: To improve it, land the cartwheel with both feet together. Kind of like a round-off, and JUMP! Right now, your kind of flinging yourself into it, getting rid of a lot of possible height.

...It's a btwist man, you're just rushing it and not getting much height. What made you think it was something different?

I can confirm that, it's a b-twist.

yea its a btwist, if you set your arms up and over more, so that you invert, it would a cart to fulltwist

Well it just doesn't feel like one. At all, and I've been btwisting for ages. It's a pop take off, so I guess that could be it. And it is supposed to be on a slant. Plus there is a split before landing usually, and that - although it is kinda like a btwist round - feel like nothing you could ever do in a btwist that's all. What would a pop take off for an aerial twist be called..?
Thanx for the help by the way.

Like most people have said, it's a Btwist. When you Btwist out of a cartwheel, it's kinda hard to empahsize the dip without drastically slowing down the como (which would defeat the purpose of doing the combo, IMO).
It wouldn't be a Fulltwist Round, because it's not a Fulltwist, he would have to "invert" for that one!

That's kinda the idea really. I've landed the inverted ones with a cartwheel set into the pit, but everytime I try them on the floor I bail and it all goes to crap. This is kinda the pussy way of getting there. I'd just seen so many people doing them (and they didn't feel like a btwist) that I thought I would ask. So thanks everyone for clearing that up!

Lift your arms to the side as you lift off if you want to invert. Meaning, go for a sideflip, twist once you are off the ground.
I'd definitely recommend getting a back full first, though.

pop btwist :good: i havent done these in aaaages.
If you want to get more height, try and twist with your shoulders and head rather than trying to torque down :good:

I know that from what people have said what your doing in your vid is a btwist but I think what you have been seeing others do is a cartwheel full, it's a really combo combo and lots of people do poor fulls that don't invert and as the cartwheel cuts off a qauter of the full it tends to look like a btwist without the dip.
By the way that is a sick illusion in your avatar Gaz.

Yeah, I think that is the case Workerz. I'm gonna get em right eventually  My back full is landed, it's just crap. I feel like my hair is brushing the floor (I've got about a foot clearance and that is not enough!!!)!
Thanks! that illusion twist took me over a year to get right. It's all about timing though, and when you get it, it's easier than you think (which is the case with all tricks I find!).
this is an exact same one, except wai sorta x outs at the end, and really uses the punch from the cartwheel

That is exactly what I mean! And sometimes they hyper it, which looks even better.
Thanx for making me look slightly less retarded!
no problem man, i knew what you were on about straight away, i think it's just a matter of getting comfortable with it, and then using the punch more, so using the dip even less and really torqueing your body round as you come out of the cartwheel, if its upright, and it flattens out in the air.
also if your on about the one which, justin carney does a shit load of, i think i've heard them referred to as cartwheel cheat fulls.

I'm on it! Give me a week. I'm training with Alpha in Derby on sunday, I'm sure that will empower me to pull something outta my ass
edit. is that you?
nah i believe it's mogwai, i can do em, but i sorta just tuck my legs in and they look a lil funny,
i'm sure renney and gary ip do them with straight legs, and they look like hella clean double legs...

Wickid. It's getting there anywayz, we all have to start a new move somewhere don't we! And you're right about Renney and Ip. I kinda thought that once I get these down and half working, I could experiment with some variations. We'll see!
Thanks!
