i originally wrote this in the share your vids forum, in respinse to what FA was saying about comments left in vids or whatnot... read on
i got an idea for expanding the forum, maybe in the spirit of this discussion. you think in the share the vids catergory, maybe novice, intermediate and advanced... now for me, i consider myself and intermediate tricker.... this way we can target helping each other along the same level, style as far as if u r primarily a kicker and whatnot. i know that was a bit edgy but i can explain in detail when i get out of class.. post some informative responses please.

I don't understand the request. A vid forum for sampler releases and a vid forum for getting advice?
i think he means a share your videos sub forum for noobs, mediums, and skillzzoorzz.
noobs wouldn't be able to help noobs though

It isnt what he meant but what you said is a good Idea. It would make it easier to brows through samplers samplers.
I think it would be cool if there were some way to embed youtube videos.

originally, i was speaking of the video section , but this idea can be used on a much larger scale... this way the maximum amount of people can benefit from comments, suggestions, etc.
I think your tricking "level" is measured by how good/effective/skilled/cool the majority of the tricking community percieve you to be.
i really didnt elaborate either.... we all know there are different types of trickers kick trickers, flip trickers, hybrid and whatnot... to further my proposal, you have like a kicker section : kick questions go here ie. basic kicks for trickers who want to learn but was never taught etc. flip and spinny section : i want to learn a cork.... u see what im saying.... this is in addition to the trick levels part. that way no one gets left out and anyone can input. u got to know where u r strengths lie, or at least where you want them to be...

I think over categorising is a bad thing. Its pointless having loads of subcategories if they arent going to be useful.

what is up to us to whether it will be useful, ultimately it was just to help more than confuse. so you give or take some categories you see that possibly meticulous.

actually sessh in his his tricking bibles covered some of this, but hardly anyone want to read . the tricking bible was brilliant by the way sessh. trickers want to be spoon feed now a days, haha

One of the problems in splitting the Share Your Vids forum is that IMO many tricksters will just ignore the n00b subforum...
but on the other hand - those who will watch the vids will comment, 'cause that'll be the reason they even bother entering that sub-forum...
Embedding youtube vids is an A+ idea! ^__^

I'm not really good at flip twist but I got some cool shit in basic flips and kicks. So I can go in both of the categories. It's one thing to have a lots of moves and another to master some of them! I can be good at some tricks and not on others, so how can you judge me?

Man, the main purpose of that is not to rate tricksters.
But to help ppl by the categories....
But for taht matter - um.. can you differ a complete noob from an average trickster? If your answer is no... well.. x__X

Noobs make posts before using the search function.

I think I know much about tricks than you White Nazgul. I'm on this site since the beginning of TT! hehe! I don't post often because I don't have Internet at home.

any other suggestions
embeding youtube videos sounds like a cool one andy :good: i noticed that on the NAN forum and it's quite cool.
Wouldn't go that well for the noobs. Who would want to browse through pages of bad cartwheels and tornado kicks, only to give the same replies to everyone?
Noobs would get screwed. The way things are now, you dunno the level of the trickster, so you go "oh great, a noob" after watching some of the sampler. Then you post "yeah, you need to do this and that.. keep going". If we have a separate noob forum, they would get fucked over by everyone except other noobs:P
