i did a search on the forum and didnt see anything recently. so i apologize if there was already a suggestion like this...

...but is anybody down for a battle thread? where you can call out other trickers and engage in back and forth trickage?? i think it would cause people to step their game up more. iono..just a thought. i would be interested tho.

dunno lol, it should be done in category so lets start with a spin trick, flip trick, kick trick and one bail? can be any variation of flip spin kick and bail but cannot be a combo.

Film each trick.

Send the videos to a third party (Or one of us if you don't mind)

Then post the video of them side by side for each category on TT.

Then people vote.

EDIT: For the idea of the "Making us work harder" to work, I think we need to get the clips after the battle is initiated. I will be more pumped.

The one category I feel like I have a pretty good chance is the Bail section. That is going to hurt filming.

im thinkin we can have 3 pre set judges to vote on vids...that way it minimizes biased votes. we should do it with variety of tricks. unless someone decides to call someone out on a certain move or combo. better yet...

we should create the list of options and each contender can pull what he/she would like to challenge on. that would be dope. so far we've got...

spins/twists
kicks
flips
combos
bails

thats quite a nice category i believe. and if someone so chooses they can switch up combo guidelines...example...linear combo only...or kicking combo only..etc. this sounds fun haha..

well that could be included in a linear combo. either way. i think we should make it more free...less bound by rules. unles you want to specifically challenge on a type of combo. you know? either way.

i say it should be a subforum with 3 threads, call-outs, battleground, and archives. that would be efficient and it would be less work coding-wise. make sense?

a roundoff move counts as one trick in my eyes. So a roundoff backflip would be one move not two.
