Rob Cabral an old furious force member told me after streching splits to drink lots of water and the flexibility you gain wont go away. is it true? if so how much water to drink?

I've heard/read about this too but personally I really don't have a clue to it's effectiveness. To me at least it sounds a bit... bullshit? Superstition? You name it...

Believe me I used to drink A LOT of water during / after stretching and all I got was major urge to go piss, which I think did more harm than good to my stretching since I couldn't exactly focus while holding out.

Keeping hydrated will help prevent injury in stretching. It also helps flush out lactic acid and that kind of stuff.

Water will, to some point, improve your stretching. Water softens your muscles.

But I do not think that you should think in the way of binging 1l of water while you're 2 inches away from your split. Keep a good intake running through the day so you're hydrated.

yeah its like a magic pill.

hydration is important but its a minor element in comparison to say stretching consistently - when discussing increasing ROM
