Coindropping

Ok I can coindrop and do the weird kip up thing from it, but my momentum goes only up and down. I wanna do it the proper way where you get lateral momentum too so you can go into windmills and flares and such. I know that you are supposed to stay on your upper shoulders, but whenever I do it, I can't help keep going onto my lower back which is killing the momentum. What am I supposed to do? And how do I keep my legs from bending.
