I got aerial/brandy down for allready a few months
i've got all aerials
Trickster
gymnast
Axe2A
ReverseA
aeriola
and brandy

now i will move on to Aerial Switch coz it's a damn sweet move!
but...

1 : First question: is my brandy good enough 2 move on to A-switch?
2: i have a weak left ankle, can't land things low so is it wise to start learning this move?
3: And the last question: To do an A-switch , should you bring both legs together and when you land just lift you right leg up so that you land on you left ...

this i my brandy and aerial : http://video.google.nl/videouploadfinished?docid=-1074319721121670733&cid=7a90bcd9e9bfdfde

some help!?:$

When I started landing a-switches (like the first many) I did indeed land low and hard on the foot that switches down. It hurt like fuck and definitely was not enjoyable. Since your ankle is weak, I'd be damn careful landing. Your basics are good enough that you will land it, but if that's all the power you can generate from the moves (as in, if you can't generate more power than what is shown in your vids) then you could be in for some painful landings. I could be wrong, but I trust my sense of "aerial" so-to-speak.

I'd go for it but if you have an ankle-brace, wear it. It's not exactly your ankle that takes the main brunt of the gravity attack, but it's almost like your foot compresses under the stress haha. I guess you'll find out if you attempt it. Just really add as much power as you can to the thing so you have a good chance of landing it high and lightly. Good luck! I know you can land it!

thx man :)

but if i just do a brandy ( so in mid air my legs are together just like a normal brandy)

then just lift up my right foot
then i'll be landing a "brandy" on my left foot and that will be an a switch or do you really have to swing the left leg even before you bring them together...

um... you could just start by bending the non-landing leg on the switch....

relax the non-switch leg. Biggest thing for me that got me doing them :good:
