ok what im going for is landing with both feet, to backflip out of. Is it just like a hip rotation in mid-air or what? But other than that how is the aerial?

The aerial looks good. To land with both legs at once I strongly suggest you use a run up. Just get a strong run up, block, and try to stick your legs together when you pull them down to land.

yah i can do a running brady, but i was watching (i think jan) in the risk of death sampler and he does this sick standing axe- brandy to back flip. I just cant seem to get both legs landing at the same time to set up for the backflip

Well the technique isn't any different, you just get more power from a run up, so I suppose just practice it more. Getting it higher, more powerful and faster over time. That's the only thing that makes since to me, unless your running brandy needs some work. Maybe you should include a clip of that as well, maybe with some attempt at standing brandys included.

straighten your legs in the Aerial
a brandy needs allot more force to land good
you need good height to bring the legs together and then land on them together
they may not be together at the end, they allready have to be together in mid air.
while doin brandy
keep your chest up to land more upright

Bro>> It aint neccesary to overextend the legs in the aerial, like it sounds u want him to do. That standing aerial is excellent dude!

imo it looks much better when the legs are straight.
it looks much sharper and cleaner to me
ust think about it when you do the aerial
capture it on film and see yourself what you like more :)

Well his legs were actually pretty straight. Maybe it looks more bent to you because he's wearing shorts? Anyway, I've never seen someone do a standing brandy, and I think starting it with an axe kick would probably help because of the extra force acquired in the leg lift (assuming you can already axe to aerial).
Juji does standing aerial switches though. I actually took all of his advice on aerial switches when I was learning to brandy.

If you can aerial. You can brandy.
It's just you haven't taken the time to try.
