is a ton 1000lbs?

a ton is 2000 lbs

EDIT: I currently deadlift only about 3 or 4 tons per week.

When I used to be able to handle high volume, I'd deadlift about 15 tons per week.

Other lifts, I cba to think about.

This last week I've logged 49,514 lbs, which is 24.757 short tons, which, since that's over four workouts, gives me an average of 6.18925 tons per workout.

Steve, you manly beast.

My average workout is around 8-10 tons. My volume block had about 20 per session, except for my first week, in which I did about 15 tons per session.
