hmm well u see your legs dont wrap together compelty because after the kick if u look u bend your left leg up, this move you should want to land on both feet, dont let your left leg bend after the kick, you wanna do the kick and wrap your legs together tightly just how you would on a standing jump rotation. I think you will get it easy then, and another tip but donno if it will help u, try to get the kick done as fast as possible and bring it down to your other leg as fast as possible so you have more time to do the gyro, nice one though ;)

yeah i kinda used to be able to do it but never really try it anymore, its hard to combo so u dont really see it that often, but usally looks sweet as in slow mos, thats the tips i was given from a wushu instructer and it helped me add more rotation and made it look neater, you will do it soon your basicly almost doing it in the video anyway

np!

and yeah thats were u wanna be landing, if u slow it down and stuff you can see u actullay only need about an extra 90 to land it which im sure your get if next time that left leg is straight with your right ;)

Try it with a run up, it'll give you some extra height and it should ease things up considerably.

Sorry, I'm a tricker, not a wushu-dude!

And if 540 gyro should be comboable it's should be practised from standing or a small step!

 tricking ftw! i think he ment just to help get used to it then take it to standing, but yeah i tend to prefer attempting snapus standing rather than with a little run up even if it would make it easier

just observing but shouldn't you land with your other leg first? That way you can "cheat" some extra spin

U mean I should land with my left leg??

Some people land on their left leg [non-kicking leg] first when gyroing a 540, it's what sometime happens when you add an extra spin.

you really need to go UP more and bring those legs together.

Doesn't the 540 have a pop-landing? contrary to the kicking leg?
