geez! why cant i get a perfect cartwheel, everytime i try to do one, i end up falling sideways ,or having the other leg bent, and not landing with both feets! ,darn i think im not too flexible, should i practice a split first ?

Haha, I can actually relate man, like over a year ago I couldnt cartwheel for shit :P practice handstands so you get used to being vertical, and then after a little time of practicing them, go for cartwheels and you should be all straightened out

Yeh just a little flex should suffice man, as long as you don't feel like you're not pulling anything while wheeling your flex for them is fine. Also the point is to land with the other feet before the other. You don't land flat footed on a cart :good:

Hmm what else... I don't know if this image will help you but here's the leg setup (for cart going on your left) the way your toes should be pointing with both legs on take off and landing.

takeoff: *this is the direction you're going to* _ |

landing: | _ *this is the direction you came from*

As you can see your legs sorta "switch" direction in the air, that's the best way I can describe it. Also try searching for some cart tutorials. I'm positive there are some around here.

One last tip. Try to "reach the sky" with your legs and image the swingthrough. This should keep your legs straight and imagine the move completely. Have the technique completely in your head and you'll get it.

edit: and yeah I started with carts too, it didn't really help everyone was like "omg wtf lolol1lo1 nub!" so ignore them.

I cant cartwheel properly, i can, but not very well..

I've been trying to roundoff lately, and it's SO hard for me.. It's because i neglected cartwheels and roundoffs and just went and learnt a bunch of flips instead =p. But now i wanna do roundoff bflips, and im finding it hard to roundoff. Im an idiot. =p

Mh the roundoff is, mh i dunno, i was able to do it in 5 mins, but don't get any other stuff xD
Just try to put your legs together and then down to the ground in the middle of the wheel...

The hard thing about the roundoff is not to "land" it, it's to get it fast, so you can do backflip based stuff from it..
