I don't understand getting height and tucking in this move. I mean, I could get height, but then I don't get how to tuck and have the momentum turn me over sideways. I can kind of run up into it, and try it using forward momentum, but then there's absolutely no height. /confused

Try it on a big fucking pile of snow. That's what I'm gonna do tomorrow :good:

Nah, sideflips are easy. Do a run up, turn sideways with your knees slightly bent and BLOCK, throw your arms up, pull legs in and tuck. If you pull your knees in right and get sideways you should flip sideways, block and use arms for height. Drill the move alot as well, it will improve.

Well I've been giving it a go but I seem to have a problem.
Everything else is fine but my legs untuck into a dleg midair as soon as I have rotated 180* degrees. And it sucks. Anyone else had a similar problem? I think it's a natural fear thing on a subconscious level, because I REALLY don't have any mental fear doing this move on snow.

Then make it a conscious thing and TUCK.
You don't have to be perfectly sideways to jump, tuck and flip. It works on any axis of rotation, but the jumping and tucking motions will be slightly different.
