has anyone ever done, like a laydown 360 cresent followed by a full twist/horizontal gyro (whichever you want to call it), similar to the snapuswipe, except using an outside kick, rather than an inside one ??

you mean a crescent single leg twist? i think Juji did a few of those in his samplers

What you describe sounds like a CSL twist, like Jason said.

Also look at Alvin Kash Chan's old IMC sampler. It's not a crescent single leg twist but more of a 360 kick, twist... haha.

yeh alvan cash does a couple times in his samps.
ive also done it on accident trying a cresent singleleg gyro.

i read all the posts, and it doesnt exactly sound like a csl twist is what he's talking about, i could be wrong, but i think he means like a laid back cheated 360 gyro

if you did it from a cheat take off it looks exactly like a c720 twist with a long stall before the twist (scalco's tried 'em and thats exactly what they looked likke)

no, I'm not sure about that. If you really throw the lifting leg into the kick, and then wrap, it will look just like a snapu, but with a cheat take off and a lifting leg kick. If you do not kick, then, yeah I will have a cheat 720 twist. The snapu is the same, so many people try them and just don't do them right. Scalco is a legend for doing such clean snapus, and I daresay he could pull this off. You would just need a good layback, and a prolonged extension on the kick before the wrap.

Shuriken twist gyro would be the sex. i want to see scalco's illusion twist gyro attempt (preferably just like his avatar as that really kicks ass).
