As I've previously asked without video :
Whenever I try one, I constantly lose all control (or well, I've no idea what's becoming of them until I land) over my legs. This leads me to always landing on the outside of my jumping leg = :agony: :agony: :agony: :agony: :agony:
I'm wondering if it's because I don't spin enough ? Not enough height ? Bad technique ?
Yeah the video is piss poor quality sorry for that :agony:

lift and stall before you twist. you were jumping down on your attempt, you gots to lift that back leg up and jump way up before you twist

lol was it cold outside or something? It just looked like it when you ran to the camera like that

And yeah don't be afraid to crash and really just ARRRHGF give it all and go for it. Lift that leg like a mofo and stall just a tiny bit and then wrap (and remember to turn your head for maximal spin).

Yeah you're not lifting at all. I think you should work on getting better lift with your bkicks so you don't keep spinning prematurely and injure your knee.

yes. I used to have the same exact problem you had so I just drilled bkicks (for a couple of weeks, actually) and got used to the setup and getting height out of it- then I stated twisting them.
I hope you get it soon, if you feel kinda like your legs are dragging through the air, try and position them so they're straighter and easier to pull through.

there's not much else to say about that, this move is kinda a bitch so try not to get discouraged. I even might recommend making them more vertical so you get used to landing on your feet at least, then working on them from there. good luck!

For a normal btwist you don't need a maximum spin. Just "roll" over, but make sure that you're high enough. now for 720 btwist thats a whole new story
