Tricking List

Personally, I wanted to know all the possible tricks there are. I know there are the tricks on the main site, but there are other tricks people talk about which confuse me. (Wtf is a gainer?) Maybe someone could compile a list for the noob tricker and maybe a video showing what it is? That would be great. And...if there is already a thread with a list...sorry for lack of scavenging. Maybe someone should sticky it eh? :eh:

Ummm...

A gainer is a backflip taken off of one leg, gaining mometum (or ground, in some cases), where the leg is swung through and over.

Club 540 is a gives a good example of a lot of the architypical tricks that you'll see, although many others are out there that the site does not address.

One thing that's always been bothering is that when some people gainer there just isn't an visual noticable difference between it and a gainer flash, so is there technically any difference in these tricks? I mean the mechanism is pretty much the same

in gainer you tuck and land on two feet. in g-flash you kick and land on the kicking foot first.

Wouldn't that be an exploder though? Besides I think I've only seen that type of gainer once, and it just seems highly ineffecient to tuck in a gainer, just let the leg follow through it looks better too.

mmm... exploder is just a regular backflip (off two feet) while moving forwards.
gainer is off one foot.

IMO, You really don't have to know every possible trick through lists. You eventually learn their names by watching videos and people talking about it hahah
