well from what i see you need to try to make the kick work for you

which means try to kick over your leg and then try to close the kick like you would i a gyro ( well snpu is inverted gyro soo i guess its logical ^^ )

i think that having a solid gyro would help

that what i think

it's actually quite different to a gyro... i've been studying this beast for as long as i have been tricking and i'm pretty sure it's all in the jump (from the glutes), the back arch and the shoulder torque. then the kick and spin.

I have never landed a clean snapuswipe on anything except the trampoline, but I know exactly how it works, and I can guarantee you that whatever Mike Scalco tells you is exactly how to do this move. Not just because he can do it very well, but because he knows what he is talking about! The progression works like this:

1. awesome raiz (horizontal is good, slight invert works well also, anything less than horizontal is bad)

2. awesome sideswipe (then get it so you can get the kick across and have a split second or two before you land)

3. set for the same sideswipe and get the kick over, then pull the spin once everything is lined up.

As far as other pre-reqs, I would say os540 gyro and raiz twist help you with understanding the movement but don't directly apply to this move. I'll have something cool with this in my next (last) sampler

read joe bagtas's tutorial. After all, he does know a thing or two...

joe and omer claim to be good, but it's honestly debatable. like saying "new footage out in a coupla weeks!" about 3 years ago, and saying theyll turn up to sessions with FS and simply not showing up.

im not saying theyr honest or dishonest. either way im not bothered! but listen to someone you know can do the move rather than someone trying to act all mysterious on the internet.

eg. pete is insanely close :good:

I've actually ben working this move (sshhhh, don't tell anyone), and it's all in the height, and then how you go about the twist.

For example, the reason why you need a good cheat720twist is for the height, and not much else. The twist, it should be thought of as more of a b-twist. Squeezing the quads together helps IMMENSLY.

This move is pretty legendary for a reason. It's hard. It's so stupidly technically demanding. It requires advanced speed, advanced cordination, and advanced focus.

Practice. It'll come. I've been working mine for a while now too, and it's all about just getting closer and closer to the point where you just push over the threshold and finally land it. I'm waiting for that day myself.

errrr dave... i tried it once and completely failed after neglecting everything i had learnt about the move up to that point. maybe next time after a bit more thought?
