Does anyone have a workout plan for increasing distance in the shot put event?
Also, if you are or used to be a thrower, can you post your distance also? Thanks

There are probably two main approaches you could take.
1. A general workout including strength and power training (aswell as technique and practice of the actual event)
2. A specific workout designed in phases (this can help you reach your peak for a specific event)
It depends how seriously you take it, and what level you are throwing at.
I'm guessing that you would probably be best building a solid foundation of strength at this time.
How you go about this will depend on who you ask. But first give us some more details about your training, history, stats etc...
