I can land the regular Btwist good with lots of air. However, when I go to do the 720, I get through the 2 rotations but land on my knees/stomach or on my side sometimes 1 and 1/2 way through. Any tips on what some of the specific things are that are different from the btwist and 720 btwist? ( I'm trying to land on one foot like the regular btwist, not on 2 feet)

EDIT:
At about 1:02 anis does one, but it would help if somone explained the difference in words.

I'm still watching it now trying to figure out how he gets that much air. His torso must be fucken buff.

Just watched a hyperhook... lame lol. It looks like a bailed 720 =/. Wouldent it actually be better to try and learn the 720 btwist, so you don't get all the stuff from the hyperhook mixed up? I'll give it a try since it was suggested though.

Apparently you did not read what I said... blind man.

EDIT:

well that just doesnt seem safe...dave gave good advice. hyper-hooks give you way more awareness on top of the fact you need to make the progress to a trick like that...though its fun to throw out of no where its not something you are going to get from just doing a b-twist (i cant do this move but from watching different tricksters you can tell that it helps...and i have the same problem i can get around but cant land it. i have landed one but i was off the cam shot :bad:)

Listen dope. The guys are right. Hyper Hook is a fucking hook. I didn't learn it first, and for that niether tricks are consistant. And if you think hyper hook looks like a bailed dbl twist, then maybe you should go back to basics.

720.... go up, throw hard, don't stop the twist... the ground with do that for ya.

Listen dope. The guys are right. Hyper Hook is a fucking hook. I didn't learn it first, and for that niether tricks are consistant. Ahh, see. This is called an... explination. Instead of just "learn this". Thanks eurfukami. I now know that if I skip that move then there is a chance that both moves might be inconsistant later on.

And if you think hyper hook looks like a bailed dbl twist, then maybe you should go back to basics.

Come on lol... Look at it in slow mo. It looks like they realize they are going to land on their side or face so they throw out a foot to land early and siwng their leg around in a hook kick for balance. I would agree that a hyper hook is a fucking hook for sure... But I calls em like I sees em.

I can understand your desire to Dub Btwist, but you need to become more adept with your other twist-type moves first (Hyperhook, Corks, C720 Twist, etc.).

It may seem like you're close to landing them, but in actuality...anybody can kick it up and spin 720-degrees. It's landing it that's hard, and this is what you have to build up for...every prereq. you do is a means of developing your body to be capable of landing the next variation of the twist-type.

As an added note, if you're landing on your knees in the Dub Btwist attempts, you're no where close to landing them one leg at a time. Learn how to land them on both feet first, when you feel the compressive force of the landing...you'll see how hard what your asking for is!!!

:: I'm not trying to show any favoritism, but avoid making disrespectful statements towards Matt R & Dave C (there are others). Nothing is going to happen to you or anything, but it's not a good career move. If you don't understand something, ask for clarification ::

^ The ultimate response ^

Thanks sesshoumaru. I'm starting to learn the hyperhook and corks now. Thanks for the effort in your response. Mucho Gracias

(I have the C720 down wewt wewt)

EDIT:
Just watched a video of some corking... Very sexy when done after a btwist swing through.

When I use to land them consistently, I was able to hyperhook consistently as well. So there is def a correlation.

What helped me was to really dip and bring the upper chest + leg up before twisting. Not too much into stalling once you get up, but rather letting yourself come up first and then twist.

From there elbow strike and wrap..and really hold on hahahah

you may think its lame till you get hyperhooked in the face....BITCH. how dare you talk to dave C that way. youre a bit retarded to not take advice from someone considered a tricking beacon of awesomeness.

congratulations. you can complete the spin. so can the people that just learned btwist.

seriously. do yourself a favor, listen to everyone...learn hyper hook..and dont burn bridges...especially with someone like dave c.
