I like to lift MWF, but today I'm wicked sore (mostly in my chest, arms, and legs) but should I still lift today? I feel like if I do, I wont be able to do as much weight, and it will hurt (especially with squats) is it better to rest through it, or do it anyway?

Why are you sore? If it is because you have worked the muscles out recently then don't train those particular muscle parts. If it is because of last week's workouts, suck it up.

The 48 hour rule applies. Warm up properly and psyche yourself up abit before lifting.

I'm sore because I did ton of pushups, situps, running, ect yesterday for a rotc PFT. I did it yesterday. Also, my routine is a full-body

my advice is not to do a full-body routine so that you can workout more frequently. Haha

OP - just go easy today. Train a bit, but keep the volume and intensity low.

If it is not unberable, I would train. It will help your body recover better in the future. Or so I hear.

Remember though that muscles still take 48 hours to recover so don't do the same muscle groups on day 2 as you did on day 1. For example
