Not long ago I had a life of sedentary-ness. I would be on the computer twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. I had no interest in learning or interacting with the outside world. I would play video games all day and eat shit throughout the day without any sight of vegetables for miles. In 9th grade, I met a special someone who helped me unlock my passion to weight lift. From then on, I researched and start weight lifting. I was eating pretty clean. I was weight lifting if you haven't caught on. The problem was I wasn't doing any cardiovascular work. Even though, I was researching I wasn't really following because I didn't have all the resources to become HARDCORE!!! Overall, I was looking pretty good. Near the middle of 10th grade, I was so overwhelmed with all my school work, I neglected my conditioning. I got worse and worse as the time past. I never lost my passion but my motivation to continue my new lifestyle. Now we are at current time. I have reverted to my original state of health. From then to now, I still have been interested and continuing my learning conditioning and etc. I have always loved Martial Arts, gymnastics, aerobatics, and I like breakdancing. Then, I was introduced to Tricking. A whole new world was unlocked. I was so excited and motivated to start. Then, I realized that I am not in the right condition to Trick as I believe so. I am still not sure. Now I desire to get back into my training and start my new life as a Trickster. I've recently learned about a fellow Trickster called Dogen. I have found out that he lead a life close to mine once. Now he is well-known and an awesome Trickster. He is a new role model for me. If he can do it so can I. Just a little while ago I was lead to his web page. I was looking around. I found amazing things. I read one of his articles entitled "Beginner Routine." I found this routine he had created with a few modification from me.

I was reading it over and I had come across a few terms I had not heard of. Immediately I went to Google and tried to find the meanings of those terms. I was not successful. I hope some of you can verify what they mean to me. I'll make a list.

Isometric Bridges
Tiptoe Box
Shin Raise
Shin Pulse
Toe Curls

Another thing I noticed was on Friday. It says 1 set of 25 clean backflips. Since when can a beginner do 25 clean backflips consectively? I just don't understand that. Well this is my story. I hope many of you have enjoyed it. I hope you guys will help guide me to the right path of the Tricking lifestyle.

Thanks in advance.
~Trickstar.

PS. Should I condition first before I start actually Tricking? I am in really bad health. I plan to get a checkup with my family doctor soon for extra measures.

Nobody can tell you that "Ok, NOW you are ready to start tricking." It is all up to you to decide. Start conditioning and keep conditioning to keep yourself as injury-free as you can. If you want to have a solid weight lifting program for tricking strength I suggest you check out Chicanerous stickied thread in this forum.

Stay motivated. Learn how to structure your writing. Stay healthy.

If it is strength development for tricking then Chicanerous' thread is a good start. It didn't get stickied for nothing.

Thanks for the welcome. Yeah, I have read over Chicanerous' topic several times. It is very good. Anyways, even in my health condition, I'm not that bad. I can do most of the basic moves and then some. I'm just having trouble landing them.
