Alright, I can get into a handstand no problem, and I can last at most to about 7-10 seconds stepping back and forth ect. But recently seeing people do handstands and kicking their legs about as if balance isn't necessarily the primary issue, I've began to wonder what exactly it is that I need or should be doing to move about on my hands just as well as my feet. Maybe you could enlighten me on specific muscle groups, your own experience at achieving your handstands, any various information you personally believe would help me? Anyway, thanks, and have a great fucking day. :D

I can't remember who posted it... but there's a great Public Doman e-book called:
THE YORK HANDBALANCING COURSE
It comes in No. 1 and No. 2.
It's a great read if you can find it. Basically the best method is to constantly over-balance... that is to anlways NEARLY fall foward but you push youself back JUST enough by the strength of you finger-tips pushing against the floor.
Recap:
Kick up to vertical (you have no problem)
Make sure you feel most of your weight on your finger tips at all times.
Once you feel most of your weight on the palm-butts then you're fucked. It's hard to get your weight foward again.

Your eyes play the most important role when starting to do handstands.
Imagine your 2 hands are the bottom corners of a triangle, your eyes are focused on the top corner of the triangle. Once you get up there, you will feel your balance just snap into place. Your eyes are going to act as your third support pillar.
Lean forward! If you start falling forward (back to the ground), ROLL!

I'm having the same problem. I can hold myself and even a few pushups in a handstand position but I can't seen to get into a handstand position without a wall.

Alright, thanks alot for the advice. Just got back and am definately gonna try this stuff out. And to Mickey, I haven't necessarily made much of any progress...I'm working on physical conditioning and the likes, all excuses really...as I'll admit I lack innitiative, too many stupid details to explain so I'll leave it at that. But anyway, Check this dude out...these are the kind of handstands I'm looking to be capable of, where balance is no longer any issue.
