I have too much momentum to do this combination. How do you guys handle it?

this is completlydifferent haha
you need momentum to do the next move if you didnt have alot there would be a gay pause in between.

You need to land the cork, wait till you're ready, then flashkick.
And keep doing that, trying to do the flash faster and faster each time.

You should learn Btwist Flash. A cork shouldn't feel very much different from a btwist
Also, try roundoff-fulltwist-flashkick. That really gets you used to changing torqued momentum to straight momentum

Alright, thanks for the advice, I've done btwist to flash but it's been a while. I'll start on that, and try Skilz's advice as well.

It's not so much that there is too much momentum, it's more that the momentum is awkward and makes the flashkick (a straight back move) more difficult.

Everyone gave you some good advice TP...there is however another option.
You can open up early out of the Corkscrew, and by early I mean a the moment of pulling the "wrap" all the way through. If your height/twist ratio is good enough, then you'll be able to ready the Flash Kick before you land the Cork.
Even though this method differs from what Skilzat99X & DC had previously mentioned, you'll still feel the slight "whipping" motion from the Cork to the Flash...just not as much!

I'm surprised I didn't already put thought into opening and preparing early. I do that for swingthrus, after all. Thanks!
As for Fusion, yes I can already swing outta them. I'm looking to try something new now.
