Some nice tips, thanks Antoine.
I know BL is all about performance, but his physique is just weird looking to me. No offense to him, but proportionate muscles always look better.

Impressive physique and training pitty he doesn't use it for something more worthwhile than fake wrestling.
Worthwhile not worth wild.
Worthwhile not worth wild.
Most useless post in a long time.
Wicked workout though. As was said before though, too bad he uses it for fake wrestling.

I hate terrible grammar. It's like people don't even think about the phrases they are saying. If they thought about it for two seconds they would realise they are talking shit.

haha Brock Lesnar was training like that before he went into pro wrestling, he was a champion amateur wrestler, and he almost made the team to the NFL, and now he's training for mixed martial arts at pride fighting.

Why the ice? Is hypothermia actually part of the training? If so, what are the benefits?

The ice is for mental and willpower training. Similar to when they walk on hot coals in some countries. Monks standing under a freezing waterfall is another good example. It also cools the muscles, preventing and/or healing injuries.
P.S. I'm new here!

Agreed. If it wasnt for the ice baths, mental training would be neglected, and his ability to memorize choreographed fights and scripted interviews for the WWE would suffer.

The walking on hot coals is more of a trick than a willpower thing, apparently, though I guess getting over the fear initially is a willpower thing sorta.
I think the ice bath is done to reduce swelling too, and maybe to help stop sweating since his workout makes him sweat a lot and that can be annoying. Plus shivering tenses you up!
The stick thing looks pretty badass. It must take a lot of space to set up and is pretty dangerous, like what if the stick slipped on the ground or snapped under your weight or something. Do you do the stick thing antoine?

Ha ha, shocking your body with extreme cold and heat can affect your hormone levels... to the better!!!
Ice baths aid recovery. It's a pretty common practice.

well his mistake was a spelling mistake, not a grammar mistake...and you spelled 'realize' wrong

Ha ha, I'm not trying to be funny but I knew you knew I knew...
well his mistake was a spelling mistake, not a grammar mistake
It wasn't a spelling mistake, it was a fuck up in a phrase. He wrote the phrase 'worth while' as 'worth wild'. That is a grammar mistake, it's a stupid thing which he wrote because he probably misheard the phrase being spoken somewhere, which is why I said people should think for two seconds about what they are saying most of the time.
...and you spelled 'realize' wrong
dont' look now, but your pride is showing..
Not every country spells words the same way as Americans. So actually, I spelled it correctly because both are acceptable.
Don't look now but your ignorance is showing.

I've never heard of cold treatments affecting sex hormones... certainly corticosteroids and adrenalin, in the immidiate-term.
Mainly it works through effects on circulation and suppression of inflammation, I guess.
Contrast showers can give me a real pump if I get the timing right.
Mattt: Nobody gives a shit.
Then don't fucking argue it. I only meant it to be one post to correct him from making that stupid mistake in the future.

Your post was nearly free of grammatical errors, except you don't need a major "A" in "americans"... So you can close your little rulebook on that one, point Dexter...

Why would ice baths increase your hormones Karinold?
I think extreme cold or heat can kill sperm right? So perhaps, much like losing them in sex, your body needs to make more. Maybe an increased need to make more would? Eh, what a weird system. Anyway, the difference between temperature extremes killing them and just losing them in release is probably that they're lost without release.
Where you generally lose all the components, what happens to dead sperm? Are they broken into their base components? I think that includes some amino acids. Perhaps then those can be metabolized. A lot less gross/gay than the alternative means of reabsorbtion of lost components.

Mar-14-07, 12:12 PM
Ha ha, I don't know how it works, it doesn't increase your hormones, it just helps you get your values back to normal faster, it's just a common thing I've heard about... Alot of people using steriods include icy showers as a part of their PCT... I guess the thing is that some way you shock/jumpstart your system and it affects you in this way somehow... I don't know how, but it's just what I've heard... I even asked if someone knew why...

Well first I would like to say that I don't care about tiny grammatical errors such as spelling mistakes. It's moronic things such as fucked up phrases that piss me off which sound utterly ridiculous and just need a bit of thought put into them.
But if you want to argue some more. Here is some beginners English:
Nationalities always start with a capital letter.

The entire post was you smuck, I guessed if the "point Dexter" wouldn't give it away the picture would... ha ha, but obviously not...
I don't care about how people spell on here or if they make tiny grammatical mistakes. Unless they're arrogant or needs to hear it it's just pointless to make remarks, even more pointless to fill up a whole thread arguing about it...
If I'm not mistaken, arguing over grammar in a completely unrelated post automatically qualifies you as a homosexual
EDIT: correcting someone is alright, arguing over it isn't cool... and yes Mattttttt i'm talking to you, if something so trivial pisses you off so much, you just may have an anger problem

Motherfuck mattt, when are you going to learn that you're a worthless twat, and that holding a shitty grudge against this forum will only perpetuate the fact that everyone hates you. A fuckton. Out of this whole forum, you're the most pathetic and disgusting of them all. Burn in hell, and rot, you fuck.
