Currently, I use adidas indoor soccer shoes, which I will keep for deadlifting in, being that they are flat soled. I was looking to get some shoes for olympic lifting, squatting, and the likes. Honestly, my main concern is value- want to spend as little as I can for a quality shoe (kind of a contradiction I guess). I e-mailed the coach that I will be taught by in the summer, to see if there are any places around me that sell shoes, but to my knowledge there is not. So, thinking ahead, I turn to good old TT.

I'm a little apprehensive when buying shoes online, because you never get try them on before you buy them, or see what size is optimal for the perticular company. However, I have it narrowed down to the two mentioned in the title.
They are listed here: http://store.wfwclub.com/shoes.html

1. Have any of you purchased either of these shoes?

2. Does anyone know why the suede Do-Win's are $25 more than the leather, and the suede Werksans are only $10 more?

3. Does anyone else have any other recommendations?

I know Chicanerous has the Adidas Ironwork II, but they are more expensive than these, and I'd like to spend as little as possible.

I'm going to hunt on other forums after this to see what other information I can gather, but I thought i'd give a shot here first.

Edit: I also know these are on the market, and I've read some happy customers that have bought them- http://www.vsathletics.com/product.php?xProd=1301&xSec=1

Edit 2: Chicanerous, if you do read this, how do your IronworkII's fit? Right now I'm looking at the Power Perfect shoes from adidas, I may fit into a 13.5 depending on how they fit. From what I've read people think adidas's shoes are tight and buy bigger sizes.

The difference in price is because the suede Do-Wins cover more of the shoe with suede than the Werksans do.

The Do-Wins have a bit higher of a heel than the Ironwork that I've heard has given a few lifters a problem, but most people like them.

I think my Ironwork's are the same size I normally wear. Most places will let you exchange the shoe for another size if they don't fit.

http://www.dynamic-eleiko.com/ is the place to get Adidas.

Thanks for the reply. I've been wandering around that site since I posted. They have a pair of blue power perfects, size 13.5 that i'm probably going to call about tomorrow.

I'd like the Adistar II's but they only have 14.5's
