I don't know the english word for it, but directly translated it's leg tissue inflamation. You get it when you put to much pressure on your legs when running or even changing shoes for example.

Well I got it, anyone know how to get rid of it faster except than lift your foot like a million times to get your blood going?:dead:

Shin splints (the actual name for it)

I take it you are Swedish or at least Scandinavian. To me it sounds like a direct translation for "Benhinneinflammation" which would be shin splints.

maybe he's talking about cramps.... I really have no idea what he's talking about really, inflamation in the leg is such a general term

The problem is, searching for a Swedish translation for shin splints is damn near impossible. I tried and ended up sitting for an hour or so until I found it in some doctor's report. Also the translation he's giving is as I said, a direct translation of the word I put in quotation marks.

It is most likely shin splints.

You've got male menstruation. It's supposed to come from the penis.

Aye Rahf the word I looked for was Shin splints, you are right. It's damn hard to find a translation. Anyhow, anyone know how to get rid of it faster or is it just 100% rest?

inflammation means weeks of doing activities that puts real pressure to the spot where your leg is inflammated...
things you can do to speed up recovery is dont be a dumb ass and trick and land hard on the foot, it fucks up everything..
maybe your doctor could prescribe some meds for you, dunno if these are english names for meds but i've gotten Brexidol and Voltaren, they're Anti-inflammation meds, they really screw up your stomach so you have to eat alot while taking them.. but they work..
and, a normal (not to serious inflammation) would take about 3 weeks.. if you start training again easy, like build up intensity gradually, but if you just pull a double cork or shit like that from the start, your gonna get drawbacks..
if you've had the inflammation for a few weeks but still been tricking, its gonna take like 4-5 weeks to heal, and you still have to take it easy for a little while with training again when you start back..

a good thing to do when you got an inflammation, and cant trick, train weights.. beats sitting home looking at samplers and jerking off..
now get going!!! :juji:

Shin splints = rest and no excuses to go tricking or performing hard physical activities. Condition them using Dogens "Titanium Ankles" tutorial when they are healthy again.

shin splints develop into stress fractures if not taken care of

Rest/rice and actively flex the muscles of the area through full RoM for stretch.

I'm having annoying shin splints right now and I wonder, can I do Titanium Ankles while I have shin splints? I don't like the idea of getting weaker while I wait for them to heal just to get them back after 2-3 sessions anyway after they've healed..

Heal and then condition. The time "loss" is small anyway. Don't be in such a damn rush.

I'm 22 man.. I don't have all the time in the world ;P

Bleh.. It's a shame because I love doing front flips.. They don't hurt shit doing but apparently, they're 90% the cause of my constant shin splints =(

2 years ago I broke my hip, tore off my back muscles, broke several ribs, concussed and compressed my spinal chord and bruised myself on the skin. I was in rehab for over a year and let's just say that my physical status was most likely below yours.

Things take time and rushing them means exposing yourself to risk of injuring yourself. You're still young believe it or not. It's when you start having kids that the serious business begins.
