What do you think I need to buy to prevent injuries? I know, i'll never prevent them, but things to help them.

Will I need to buy a crash mat, etc?

A crash mat would be nice, yes. Are there no gymnastics or martial arts places around?

to prevent injuries you need to be both well conditioned and have good technique!

a crash mat isnt necessary at all although some facility (such as a gym) may aid you in the learning process and prevent some wear and tear.

search some threads using the search tool in the top right for some conditioning you can do. strong knees and ankles will help you greatly.

Most trickers acquire injuries to the knees and ankles, so some type of brace could help [as long as it doesn't limit movement too much]. Manny Brown wears an ankle brace of some sort, and he's not even injured...it's a safty precaution, and a pretty smart move considering the level of misslegs he orchestrates.

weird for someone who isnt injured to wear an knee brace u would think it would limit his movements..like it was weighted clothing ala dbz...

it truly shows how abnormal a beast he is.

If it's just a support then it helps without limiting your movement much. Obviously braces and stuff are there to keep it from moving much.

Plenty of tricksters wear braces. I didn't for my first 4 years and this year I decided to get some as a safety precaution. Generally I end up hurting my left knee or my right ankle (though nothing serious so far) so I end up having a pad on my knee and a support on my ankle. Not all the time but you know, at leat half my sessions. Depends mostly on what I'm working on.

Stop tricking. Though you may get injured from other activities.
