"Mix the Disciplines"

Description:
This one was filmed over the period of time slightly before springbreak, and then slightly after. Me and my friends in the gym, and me and my Bmx friend out around town skating and tricking.

I hope the skating bits don't take away from the video too much.

Audio:
Madina Lake - "House of Cards

People:
Me, Luke, Gage, Rachel, Danny B

Places:
Out and around downtown Bluffton. My gym. My basketball court out back.

New or Notable tricks:
New btwist setup. Look for a new moonkick tech. Luke has learned to really Stall his flips. Gainer off rolley thingy. Luke's Standing Front.

Fluff:
If your not a fan of videos containing other hobbies with the tricking, you might not like this one. It has a bit of BMX and my skating skills (I'm a newb). A funny clip for the end tho haha.

lol towels, that was a sweet vid.

Those kickflips and heelflips were noob-class, you gotta pop, then flip! dont try to do it all at once! Your adidas shoes looked whack on a skateboard, lol

Dude! you almost got the btwist s/t moon kick! sweeeet! Sick video overall, looked like fun

Nice man, what were you trying on the cork you fell on? Or did you just not land it?

Sometimes when I try moonkicks, my body automatically twists for a cork. That time I was trying to stall a moonkick, kick out, but then it added the twist.

That happens to me on my trampoline when i try moonkicks. I dont moonkick though. I never liked the idea.
(unless moonkick means gainer slant hook. Those are cool.)

Towels you're improving lots man and I respect that, but seriously, you hav eto clean up some aspects of your tricks.

Your tricking lacks something and thats POWER. I dunno if that's personal style but i don't like it. You look like I could just push you over with one finger, mid-flip and you'd fall in a heap.

After all your landings you kinda take some time to stabilize yourself. I dunno if you don't have strong ankles and shins or whatnot but i advise you to work on that. In any case your landings are kinda poor and unbalanced.

One final thing to fix if you wanna add more power is your posture. Why are you fucking hunching all the time? When you kick you look at the ground... WHY? It cuts your height... Not only that but after you finish a trick you just hunch and look at the ground and walk away like an emo retard. Are you in a constant myspace camerawhore stage? Stop doing that posture, it's not cool.

Push your fucking chest in front and hold your head high... fucking pansy.

I hope you'll take this as constructive criticism and not as bashing :]

Hahahahaha, I do do that. We played a game at the gym called "stick it" which is basically horse, but your have to stick it to count. I lost big time. I would always walk off casually looking down.

and yes neil I agree. Moonkicks are only cool if you add the hook to it

Hahahahaha, the guy in the white shirt who keeps running into the big "backhandspring cheese wheel" thing and somehow rolling on it and flipping on it at the same time is awesome!

EDIT: You're vastly improving, Ben! Wowzers! And that suicide kip huge groundwork combo was one of the most cool and creative things I've seen in a while.

Hahhaa thanks Dan. We got the idea after watching that vid of someone's gymnast friend doing a gainer off a yogaball.

Luke is currently working on finishing up his first sampler. I'm stoked for that.

Not bad at all! You keep improving very quickly. One thing, work on those kicks some more, you seem to be flexible enough so put some time into making them look really vicious.

pretty good :)

although you really gotta stop doing that "guitar axe" thing or whatever it is.. then putting it back onto the floor and then.... just doing a normal aerial.. do it with the other leg and axe aerial :wicked:
