I seem to have lost my flashkicks. :eh:

This is the first one I ever landed:

they now look like a back tuck with a kick at the beginning.

The problem was my ankle couldn't handle the pressure of landing them so I automatically bring both my legs in as soon as I try to kick. I have always struggled with the whip back technique because when I whip back, I whip back hard, I mean like my chest is way open and I can see the ground almost immediately. my torso then gets so far ahead of me that I have no control over my legs until I have flipped at least most of the way around. I tried to pactice handsprings that end in flashes but I always whip back so hard that I can't move my legs until my hands touch the ground. I also tried doing them without a whip but then the kick can't come through. I have tried everything but unfortunately I cannot get my flashkick back.

I need advice on whipping back, I either whip back too much or not at all.
I also need advice on the flashkick itself, wtf do I do to get it back?

Try to do a normal backflip except your head is looking back. Maybe that will be between a whip back and a normal back tuck.

Sounds like my flash kick. I never arch. EVERRRRRRR. I just try to jump as high as possible.

my flashkick is generally a back tuck til the peak then I step down with one leg. It's something I'm working on. :(

with flash kicks your body needs to be alot more FLUID in the flip :good:

I fixed it earlier today, It turns out I had to kick myself in the ass with my chambered leg so it wouldn't kick out and turn the flash into a normal backflip. thanks for the help though =)
