He's done it again ladies and gentlemen.
Man, everytime I happen to see him....he's got something new up his sleeve.
Tonights session was amaZAzing!
Okay it goes like this.......
I got to Jaos alittle late, so everyone was already warmed up and throwing some crazy shit. So right when I walk thru the door, Musickid say's "check this out"! Like OMFG! Manny goes and does something so surprising. I mean, it wasn't the craziest thing I ever saw....But it was so surprising!
I don't want to get everyone's hope's up, and have them think it's a whole new move...but he basically took 2 different moves and combined them. I like it though. I'm telling you it was very like "omg. wtf did he just do!?!"
While we all wait for the footy to be released....here's alittle food for thought.
I'm assuming everyone know's what a Psycho Crusher is. Everyone know's what a Spinning Knuckle is. Okay. Now think of those moves but in reverse.
Like instead of head first.......he went feet first.

Very similar. The difference being, he landed on his feet, and he threw a kick.
Maybe he's done it before elsewhere. It's the first time I saw it though. I think he called it a Shadow......something. I wasn't really listening. I was too focused on the crazy session I was bout to have with him.
Good news for me that he was there.....cuz I was extra pumped!!! I actually landed a few new things. I can happily say now, that I can pop720......both sides!!! Hahaha I couldn't ever do it on either side. Bring Manny Brown around and viola! 720 both sides!!!! LOL. I also got more comfortable with my shitty-ass Btwist. I'm working on the flatspin still....but at least I'm landing them alot smoother. i actually combo'd a Btwist 540...so I'm pretty siked bout that. Not to mention I went for a hypertwist a couple times and am actually close to landing it! Also....I think I've come the closest EVERRRR to getting the cork. Meh, it's sooo wierd for me. I just don't grasp the mechanics of it yet. They also pointed out that I don't hook punch hard enuff or at all. I just turn my shoulders in the air. SUCKS!

OMG! That's sick! At first I imagined his new move going straight up- that woulda been even more insane! By the way,congrats to you, FatTricks. Seems to be a pretty good spring for everyone around. Hell, last couple sessions I wasn't even trying and landed like, a whole bunch o new stuff, like,....WTF! But Manny is truly.......uh, I can't seem to find a fitting word.
But you guys just go on rocking! I'm looking forward to good new samplers.

What is a spiral knuckle and a psycho crusher? Didn't Bison do the psycho crusher, or was it Sagat? I've forgotten most of my SF memories.

He basically did a jump kick but in reverse.....I would'nt know what to call it.
It was cool though, because it was a surprise....like you could'nt have anticipated that kick. Like it looked like it was going to be a Btwist, but then he surprisingly threw a different move.

When you do a Btwist, you should land facing the way you came from. I lead into it head first and land facing the way I'm going. The "flatspin" would be the turn to face the way you came.

ahh right, practise more bkicks but lifting the head to look up at that wall to the right, so your lifting you head up, this'll encourage your back to arch and you'll go up more and have more time to flat spin.
also use your right arm to push you upwards, so swing it up with the dip of your head instead of straight round into that twist :good:

Thanks for the pointers. I was throwing some Bkicks today B4 I went for the Btwists. It seemed to help alittle. I think I'm kinda getting some flatspin now.
Oh btw guys.....I went for what Manny did...that Shadow thingy.

He went for a Btwist on his left side. Took the first stepwith his right, kicked the left leg back *and that is where the surprise was* He never dropped his left leg. He just muscled through to a layedback cheat 720.

I guess you could say reverse aerial setup. But he went into it like a Btwist. Maybe more like Chris D's Aeriola. But it was a laidback Cheat720 KICK NOT TWIST.
You know how on a btwist setup you take a step, then turn and sweep the jumping leg back behind you, B4 you turn and jump? Well he did that but never "turned and jumped". He swung his jumping leg back (left leg), but then left it there in the air, and jumped off of what would have been his lifting leg(right leg). That's when he did more or less the "missleg" laidback cheat720 KICK. He kicked with his left leg. The dope thing about the move was that he was traveling feet first as he executed the c720. I know it's alittle hard to understand, as I might not have explained it very well, but I tried my best. I hope I can get the footy. I'll keep you guys posted.
In closing, I just want you guys to know that this move looked wicked. I mean, it looked like for all intents and purposes that he was gonna do a Btwist or a variation of a Btwist. But instead he throws a jump kick(laidback cheat720 kick).
I mean talk about playing dirty.
Enemy: "Hahaha fool! I see you're doing a Btwist setup...how could you possibly hurt me with tha----*dies from Cheat720*

Regardless of whatever the setup may be, it's essentially a C720 Twist...

Regardless of whatever the setup may be, it's essentially a C720 Twist...
C720 Twist------->WRONG!
C720 KICK-------->RIGHT
The animation is doing a Btwist on the left side, starting with the left foot in front. You MUST remember that he covered distance when executing this move. So in essence his feet led the way....he went feet first.

EXACTLY! But would that be considered a "missleg"? His right foot jumps alittle before takeoff...sorta like the small hop on a reverse gainer setup. So his left leg was'nt really swinging to his benefit, other than the momentum which let him cover distance.
But I think it's a missleg, because I tried to do it today...and man you really have to muscle it. Needless to say I did'nt do it. hahahahaha
I wouldn't really call a move from a different takeoff a "missleg". If he did a hypertwist, then this move, it'd be a missleg, buuut... Calling it a missleg is weird, because then you'd have to look through all the other moves which start like that, like uhh.... lifting your leg up and doing an aerial without it touching the ground would be a "missleg" aerial, not just an i.e. sidekick-aerial, and doing a standstill 540 would be doing a "missleg" 540, not just a 540 with no setup etc...
I dunno... I'd call it a laid back 540hook from a btwist setup, but a laid back missleg 540hook is an easier way of describing it. It's the same as a standstill 540. You hold your leg up and 540 without doing the setup. You hold your leg up and do a laid back 540hook.

But in all seriousness this move is wayy hard for me. I can missleg(no setup) 540, as well as 540hook. But because of the entry into this move (the Btwist setup)...it makes it FRIGGIN hard man. I swear...I tried to do it...but ended up doing some lame ass tornado out of the setup. Hhahahaha

Maybe it's just one of those things that really only Manny can do. I mean this move is what I saw on Sunday. The last time I saw him he did some other unheard of craziness.
Check it------> HyperTwist 2 SuicideSwipe. The crazy thing about it was that, when he landed the HyperTwist (facing the way he came)......he immediately went into the suicideSwipe back in the direction he came from.
Thats just some other shit man. What about the momentum? I guess it was blocking....but it's sooooo wierd. It made me think about a pinball machine. You know those bouncer things.....the ball will roll towards it and the moment it touches it shoots back the way it came? Friggin unreal.

wow, thank you jan. I wasn't too sure what the move was described as, until the animation haha. That looks freakin' sweet. Fuk manny is another god, can't wait to see the actual footage, but even just seeing the animation I'm excited for it. It does seem complexish..I guess it's the setup really that would set it off, but in the end it makes sense.

I was having a training today and wanted to try something new, then in the back of my head I remembered this thread (animation wasn't posted yet when I first read this thread). I landed the move first try! but now that I see the animation I see I did it wrong:tongue: I just did a 540c at about 45 degree angle out of a btwist setup, but immediately at the swinging of the leg.
Now I see that you have to also do the little hop after that swing, and then completely lay back and do the 540c...I tried this also but I thought: "nah this can't be right, where am I supposed to get momentum from" :tongue:
Would like to see someone do this move on video,

haha i finally got to see the move this weekend...its a cheat 720twist hook(or cheat-720) from a loser setup....shits sick as hell. its completley parallel to the floor. But apparently some people were tellin me will and matt emig used to do it back in the day.

it looks diff than a layout c-720 but i guess thats basically it. cuz its a jacknife with no first kick which is essentially a c-720..but its from a loser set up.
he called it sumtin like a reverse torpedo.
this has madd potential. flatting out moves...like doing c-900 parallel...c-720 flat sidekicks...madd potential.
