Those look interesting. Anyone tried them?

If I saw anyone wear that in the street I'd probably laugh in their face.

Smart concept nonetheless. It may bring in good profits.

Looks a bit gimmicky, but you'd need to find out if it gives any ankle support and such, the grippy sole etc looks promising though.

It would look kinda silly in the society of today...however, I can imagine some footwear like this getting popular in the near future [within 15 years].

If I was going to look for footwear to trick in, I'd look for the lightest shoe that provides a decent amount of ankle support [it's not so much about protecting the underside of the foot, it's more about protecting joints associated with the foot]. This shoe in particular straps up to the calf, so it could be quite beneficial...but as I said before, it just looks kinda silly.

True...

Wushu shoes are perfect for tricking imo... And if ankle support is needed, you could wrap it up with a bandage...

However I always found that to be very unconfortable.

there a great concept but personally I prefer to wear my K-Swiss trainers for tricking or any martial art shoe. I tried those ninja shoes once with the cool split toe thing lol/

Those look too dumb no matter how much they work haha.

I'll stick with my cross training shoes.

I dunno.. they don't look THAT bad. Especially if you were on a beach or something. I would wear the "classic"(the classic ones in the product tab) to the park or something to trick. But not the strap-in(the "surge") shit. Looks like you're goin fuckin snowboarding, lol.

They might work well, but do all of the toes really need seperatate sections? I like my shoes to be able to protect my toes, that's one of the reasons I wear them, these are what I wear by the way.

ooooooooh i want it. I'd feel like a cyborg, which would give me an edge. I'd be able to compete not on equal social flooring with my peers, but from a higher vantage proudly mounted from the thought that "yea mothafucka, im a fucking cyborg bitch. damnnnnnn, can't FUCK with a cyborg"

Slippers. Ordinary slippers - make you go so high, so fast.

I prefer socks or bare foot. I sometimes train in Adidas Martial Arts trainers, so I have that added weight to improve my strength in moves: when I take them off, I feel much lighter and faster.

Bare feet with pointed feet (pointed from the ankles, not just curling in the toes). That is tricking for me. Feeling the grass beneath you.

In a dance studio though:

hey thereid what are those ? How much ? Where at?They are made to be water shoes, they are good for tricking because they have traction around the sides of the foot and are lightweight, I had to put my own insoles inside because they were really thin though. I think they were $40, and I got them at sport chalet.

The perfect tricking shoe

Rarely do I find a need to trick on concrete. And when I do I make do in whatever shoes I'm wearing. Adrenaline does the rest

That's the gayest thing ever.

I see alot of bboys, and a few tricksters do their thing in Pumas though. It seems to have a really nice shape for the two, unlike chucks.

And no that Nike shoe that's all light weight with the fleecey type fabric is not good. It's actually really shitty.

I remember Jim posted something in his xanga about a great shoe for tricking. Like the hurricane or something.

Towels stop trying to act like you're some philosophical tricking know-all now just because people think you're improving and you're doing some basic kicks now.

lol I really didn't see anything that would lead you to believe that in my post. I'm just an avid believer in not wearing shoes. I wear khaki crocs as my nice shoes

i dig feiyues. i havent tried these but i'm sure i'd have the same problem with those that i do with pumas. wide feet. its hard to find shoes that are light and fit me properly. good feedback on those weird ass toe shoes though. i was hoping someone with tricking experience would give them a shot and review them.

The best tricking shoe IMO are Adidas tkd shoes. Delta-X's are quite nice.

Meh,

I wear skating shoes that are too damn heavy, or I rock pumas.

Either way, I can trick in concrete

I definately lol'd at this. But I find it funnier that either he will continue to wear it, or take it off because of this. Either way it'll be funny =)

tricking on anything other than grass/plyo = death to joints and back.

Skilzat85X
Apr-15-07, 08:08 AM
Not really. I honestly don't feel a thing when landing on it. Obviously I don't consistently try to train tricks on it, screw that.
It all depends on how easy you can land your tricks. I only (go figure) try tricks on concrete that I can land pretty easy and not all STOMP HARD ON THE GROUND. Which is most of them, but still yes it's not that best idea to try to practice on concrete unless you're specifically practicing to practice on concrete, and it should be done in moderation.

lol whenever A girl makes me a bracelet or something like that I always wear it.

Punch fronts seem to be uncommon on concrete.
