Seriously 30 minutes of tricking on MTV would be awesome. Crap we got Final Fu, and now a show called Scarred, it now seems really possible that there could be a show directly related to tricking. I don't think it could be a reality show though, not enough drama in the tricking community.....

No, then it will be mainstream trash like the way Martial Arts, in general, almost became. MA is too firmly rooted for it to happen, Tricking needs to get more firmly rooted too. Perhaps in a couple of years though.

Three, many of the recent samplers have enough personality that cannot be touched or tampered with. Why mess with the incredible balance? The creativity of creating a sampler is greater than any TV production, really.
Just leave it to the tricksters. They know what to do.

And why shift power away from us. Right now, the only power there is in tricking is held by the tricksters. One you give that to a faceless corporation like MTV (or anyone else other than other tricksters [ie Joe Eigo/MLM]) you take away the power we have. They're obviously going to skew and change things around so that they get the views, arent they?
GO ahead and make a tricking show, I think that'd be awesome. Host it on your own site, or YouTube though. That's something we'd like to see, Im sure.

now maybe if mtv just randomly aired some classic samplers (untampered with) that would be cool. but it wont happen. the last thing we need is "the real world: tricksters"

yeah, any mainstream type media, especially MTV would ruin tricking. And i JUST got into it!!
I only said MTV because they pretty much take any idea for a show as of late. It could be any channel, I'm just saying if there was a 30 minute show dedicated to tricking, I would definitely watch it.

That's why MTV is the worst thing to happen since Joe Eigo. They got a show about parents trying to get their kids to dump their bf/gf and date someone else, a show where they follow virgins around for a week, another show where some chick goes through the guys' rooms finds german bondage porn and decides to date him.. MTV sucks the assmar.
Now on topic: no. TV would commercialize tricking which is worse than the sport dying. It would be so unbelievably lame. The standard population can't accept and appreciate basic tricking, they'd have to have some 3rd degree blackbelt showing off his x-out.
If tricking ever to go mainstream....it would probably be an embarassment with all the media trying to promote tricking.....I just like things the way they are.....rare and infrequent

a trcking TV show would be epically gay. An episode of "made" would be funny though. They'd have some overweight anime geektaking off his fingerless gloves long enough to drop 8 pounds and learn butterfly kicks. His classmates would simulate a newfound "acceptance" of him for the good of American TV audiences
