View Full Version : Sex?
A few of my friends have told me that after having sex your testosterone levels are lower. I have felt weaker after having sex early in the day then going to the gym later in the day and being noticeably weaker then usual.
Is there any kind of fact behind this?

Just leave em seperate. That one thread was like "benefits of sex durrrr..." What do you tell the girl? "Omg, everytime i'm with you its just like... my cardiovascular fitness improves by such a small margin its worth it."
Similarly it seems lame to tell a girl "nah, not right now baby. I'm gonna go sweat in a room full of grunting, muss men in a few." Do sex as you will and consider it part of living life, and let training fall where it does around that and not vice versa

I agree, concur and approve of cepopeyes post.
The workout comes before the sex anyways.. She'll be happy to have a slightly more pumped nerd in bed instead of the normal stuff. Problem will be getting some more blood to mr. Floppy.

Being honest, even if it's true, you're not gonna stop having sex to go to the gym are you?
I didn't say anything about stopping it anywhere in my post...not sure where you guys are getting that. I was just wanting to know the facts behind it. Which would explain my quote, "Is there any kind of fact behind this?".

Yes it is a widely known fact that your testosterone levels drop after you have ejaculated.
