hey. I know this may be a lot to ask, but I'm having a hell of a time figuring out a diet that consists of this many calories.

I'm 6'5, 175 lbs and finding it really tough to gain weight. I weight train 4-5 times a week and have been for the past 2 months. I'm feeling stronger and my body is appearing more conditioned but there is just no weight fluctuation at all.

Can anyone post some a meal structure and what foods you might eat on a high calorie diet like this?

Thanks!!

I'm going to state the obvious...
eat more!

Really, try to eat every 2 hours and eat more of what you eat.
There is not secret food that contain 3000 kcalories and that is good for you. Try to eat clean and often, do not start eating junk food only to raise the calories intake.
Personally I find nuts a good option.

I feel like I'm in such a good mood right now so I'll be nice.

If you're having trouble gaining weight you should start eating more times per day and start eating more energy dense food. Fatty food is always rich in calories compared to the actual weight, by eating fatty I'm not saying go out and eat junk food. Eat more times a day and bigger servings of everything!

Red meat is the most energy dense you can get when compared with chicken and fish. Likewise, potatoes aren't that rich in energy so eat more of them than you usually do. Remember to vary your diet, try new stuff out and don't be afraid to be abit liberal when it comes to what you stuff yourself with.

Dedicate one week where you really think about what you eat, how often you eat and how much you eat. It's a simple thing really, start it tomorrow by weighing yourself after you've taken the first morning piss (before breakfast). The next friday you do the same thing and compare to see how much you've gained.

Your goal is to gain 1-2lbs the first week just to get things going. If you still haven't gained a pound after doing these simple things, write another post and we'll see what we can do.

Whatever food you like eating currently.. eat more of that.

Also, sneak calories in where you won't notice them. Butter and olive oil can go anywhere.

Post what you would normally eat in a day.

Most things have been covered, so to summarise:

Eat more meals
Eat more frequently
Eat larger portions

Then add calorie dense foods to your meals, or as snacks. Olive oil, butter, milk, nuts etc...

Well, are you eating tons of fruits and vegetables?

Do you count your calories?

Are you very active during the day?

I got food poisoning from a Mexican restaurant by eating their all-you-can-eat chicken fajitas. One skillet after the other, just chowing down.

Fast forward 4 hours and I have never been more sick and covered in my own vomit/bile before.

It's 11 AM and I've eaten 2000 calories so far (I had to take a break to run to the gym, lift for an hour, and run back)

Hey there y'all.

Thanks for the tips. And I think I've a pretty good diet figured out. It reaches 4600cal and is all really healthy stuff.

Hopefully there shall be results.

Your shopping list should just consist of stuff like: eggs, egg whites, oats, brown rice, vegetables (frozen is fine), fruit, milk*, nuts, peanut butter, chicken breasts, lean ground beef, other lean meats, fish, olive oil, cottage cheese or other low fat cheeses*.

You can buy a lot of this in bulk, and even though you're eating a lot more it can still be fairly inexpensive seeing as you're just buying plain foods.

*If you can handle lactose.

Are you talking about when that guy bet someone to eat something, something, something, ummm... something. Did they take a photo of it and post it on here? I remember seeing some crap just stuck to some plate.

Rahf

Some really old fish or whatever it was, covered in mold. And when I say covered I really mean COVERED, it was white and green that plate.

Karlnold would pay Rigo 100 SEK (Roughly 12-13$ and 7-8£) if he ate it all and apparently Rigo did. I don't think he ever got the money haha.
