After a good tricking session, eat half a protein bar when you finish then 30 - 40 minutes when you get home having half the amount of powder then you usually do.

You can have the whole amount of powder if you want. If your protein intake is adequate during the day it doesn't matter. The protein bar also contains carbs which is what the body really needs after a workout.

Ideally, the best solution would be to drink the whole shake directly afterwards, trying to mix down some fruits to get some carbs. Then 30-40 minutes later eat a real meal.
