I like the shots of Earth from space, but tbh I can't be bothered to watch the whole thing. Documentaries can usually be condensed to a few pages of writing, and I'd rather they were.

I guess it's the doc about meat production and ill-treated animals. I haven't seen it. I'm actually more compasionate about animals than humans... The meat industry only allows the human population to grow even more, which will eventually end in disaster. I've been living almost exclusively on wild meat the last days. Though this rather the opposite to the solution, but it still counts me out from supporting the meat industry...

Unfortunately it is impossible to avoid killing animals in the pursuit of food and we'll inevitably be eating insects and bacteria. Why are higher life forms more important than them? The only things we shouldn't eat are humans, dogs, cats, horses, elephants, dolphins and apes. Everything else is fair game. Even the former if you're stranded and dying of starvation.

BTW those Africans who eat apes are savage monsters. Also not too fond of the Japanese who eat dolphins, but I love Japan so I'm torn.

What the fuck? Why shouldn't we eat humans, dogs, cats, horses, elephants, dolphins and apes? Why SHOULD we eat everything else? Why are Africans monsters for eating what's provided to them by the earth? Likewise with the Japanese?
