Classified section!

Why not have a (STRICTLY MODERATED!!!) forum where TT'ers can list things that they are trying to get rid of? Could have a "WTB, FOR SALE, and TRADE" sections.

This would give people a way to get rid of their junk (why not give stuff away for free as well?), and give TT'ers the first chance at some good deals.

The reason I say STRICTLY MODERATED is because all posts would need to be limited to actual classified ads (no "LAWL BUY MY TRIX IN A BOTTLE etc)

Forums aren't designed to trade your junk. Just use eBay like everyone else ffs.

These forums are here for tricking. You'd get soem really dodgy people joinging these forums jsut for the use of the sub forum, and itd be annoying. A tricking forum for tricksters, nothing should change about that.

I'm not sure if the average TT member has the maturity to handle something like this. For example: "lolz, lets see if we can get someone to trade for this ps3 box that I've stuffed with dog feces".

If there are already places that you can do this, I say go do it there. Or use the publicus, it's been used for such a purpose before, just use common sense. Something which, very often, seems to be in low supply.

I can see how it'd be useful to the community, like trading porkchop targets or puzzle mats or unused whey powder or whatever....but it could easily end up creating more trouble than it's worth.

we could use the "reputation" system that many other pb forums have (tuckermax.com (http://www.trickstutorials.com/forum/tuckermax.com), hybridz.org (http://www.trickstutorials.com/forum/forums.hybridz.org) etc)

We could also make the classified section inaccessible unless you have x amount of posts.

Ugh, that is stupid. You reach a couple hundred people with a thread on TT. Just use Ebay. If you really want to show people on TT, post a link to your Ebay auction in the Publicus. Tygur did it when he was selling his swords. That way, you reach everyone you would with a TT subforum, plus the millions who use Ebay and are actually interested in buying your crap. Heavily moderated subforum? No one even deletes question threads in the Guides/Writeup section. Who the hell wants to go through the time to moderate a subforum that has nothing to do with tricking and is going to benefit (at most) 2 or 3 sellers and 2 or 3 buyers who find what they want. It's a lot less time and money for everyone involved to use Ebay.
